It happened to me last month as well. It seems the egg hatch code doesn't work on the last day of the month for some reason. I just tried it out and I moved the date that's set on my DS back a couple days and the code worked again. I also set it forward by one day to the first of November and it started working again. So just wait until tomorrow and it seems everything will be okay.
