PKHeX 25.08.30

Attempted to use the flag researcher feature on Black 2 save files (tied to another topic on the site I just answered where I had to take a look at flags), but the feature to compare two save files doesn't seem to work at all (always returns a "Save File Types are different."... even if the two save files are from the same game that the program can open, and worse, the same message is displayed even if I point the old and new save file to the same save file, or if I point to a duplicate of the save file).

Anytime I try and load a Pokémon Red or Blue save file (Id assume yellow too but haven't tried it yet) it just gives me errors constantly. I can load Fire Red saves just fine on the current version as I've tested so something has just got to be bugged when trying to load the Red or Blue save files. I've tested older versions of PkHex and I can load Red and Blue save files just fine on those versions. 25.8.30.0 to be specific is what I used to test and my saves popped up and loaded just fine there. But the issue is the auto legal plugins for 25.8.30.0 are outdated I guess and don't work, giving me errors when just trying to generate a living dex. That's all I'm trying to do at this point is just generate a living dex on these old games. I am new to this like real new, so maybe I'm just missing something. Either or if its a bug now you know!

Unrelated to this post. The program tells you to report plugin errors to the person who maintains the plugin; it's not something PKHeX itself is responsible for.

The current version literally has the legality plug in installed with it though like its literally built in now LMAO, not to come off as rude. But I know you know that. If the current version was accepting my Red and Blue save files then I wouldn't need to try and downgrade my Pkhex and try and use outdated plugins to work correct? Right. So obviously there is a bug in the current version that is preventing Red and Blue and potentially Yellow Save Files from loading into Pkhex. And who knows about Gen 2 games. Literally go try man, go try and load a Red or Blue save on current Pkhex and come back and tell me how it didn't work.  I get what your saying, I do. But either your unaware the legal mod plug in comes bundled in PkHex now or your just avoiding the main issue of the current version wont load Red and Blue saves. meaning its a bug on Pkhex not a plug in. The saves wont even load, I hit open file, I choose my .Sav file that is made in game, not a save state obviously. And it errors as soon as I click open on the file.  Again if the current version was yanno, loading my saves correctly and not giving me an error anytime I load one then I wouldn't be in these comments.

Literally no, it does not. There are zero plugins pre-installed; you must provide them yourself to the downloaded exe available on the site.

Any chance that you’re mixing installations, or copying PKHeX.exe into a previous/existing PKHeX folder? You could already have plugins there.

or maybe you didn’t install from our site?

Being sincere here, PKHeX doesn’t come with plugins.
