Kris19
i dont mean to duble postbut what do you8 mean between 00 and FF?
KyoMcFizzle
i dont mean to duble postbut what do you8 mean between 00 and FF? 00 and FF represent the number being inserted in to the specified slot. 00 represents 0 EVs, whereas FF represent 255 EVs and so on. The method of counting can be a bit confusing, but it goes like this: 00 = 0 01 = 1 02 = 2 03 = 3 04 = 4 05 = 5 06 = 6 07 = 7 08 = 8 09 = 9 0A = 10 0B = 11 0C = 12 0D = 13 0E = 14 0F = 15 10 = 16 And so on and so forth. By replacing the desired spot with the desired code that represents the desired amount, you can attain the desired EV on the desired Pokemon... Desirably. SpYdre.
So once we input this code into our Action Replay, how exactly do you use it? Like Max Money you just press L+R, how exactly would you use this code?
SpYdre.
Also, is it bad to have 255 EV in every stat?
KyoMcFizzle
Also, is it bad to have 255 EV in every stat? You put the pokemon in your box, mark it, and then check its summary. And Yes. It's illegal.
SpYdre.
What do you mean illegal? Like the game will still count the 510 max or illegal in tournaments should I choose to play?
KyoMcFizzle
What do you mean illegal? Like the game will still count the 510 max or illegal in tournaments should I choose to play? Illegal in any type of play against another person. In-game, no one cares. However, if you play against a real person, it's considered illegal. I don't reccomend it. inferno3044
How would I make the EVs go to only certain pokemon when using the action replay codes? (eg. I wanna give mainly attack and speed EVs to a Weavile, but I don't want it to change my Magnezone's EVs)
M@T
Simply mark only your Weavile, not your Magnezone...
inferno3044
Simply mark only your Weavile, not your Magnezone... Oh you mean by giving it like a circle/star/etc. Thank you. Do you know any codes to change a caught pokemon's nature?
M@T
No, sorry.
Guest
So, each mark is associated with a different stat each?
M@T
No, you don't even have to actually select a mark. Simply choose "Marking", then "Confirm", and the EV's for all stats will be modified according to the values set in the code.
Delta Blast Burn
What nature and gender did you want? I ask for both, because there are a whole bunch of nearly similar codes that modify the nature and gender of the pokemon in box 1 spot 1. EDIT: I found the code. 020D3F60 E12FFF1E 94000130 FDFF0000 020D3F60 EA0BB366 E23C0D00 00000030 E59F001C E5900000 E59F4018 E7943000 E2033A3E E1833523 XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX E12FFF1E 02111880 0000F710 E1A00000 Replace the XXXXXXXX(s) with the desired value from the list below. When the code is active, place a Pokemon into Box 1, Slot 1 of your PC and press L. It's nature will then change to the desired one. Do not enable more than 1 at a time. tornadod
yay! i was looking for a thread like this for awhile. this link should help a lot, its a number to hexadecimal converter chart. im pretty sure thats what you're talking about. I have one question though: the first few numbers only have 1 digit for the hex number, but in the ar code it needs to have 8 digits per group, what do you do when you want a number less than 15? http://www.nameacolor.com/HEXADECIMAL%20TABLE.html
M@T
There is the Windows Calculator too, it is far more useful to convert between hex and dec (as well as octal and binary). Calculators on other systems should do that too. If the hex number has less than 2 digits, simply add a 0 before, e.g. 12 -> 0C.
inferno3044
The nature thing really helps. I plan to use it soon. jw though, what if the pokemon is naturally genderless like most legendaries?
