I Can't Find Zeraora

I can't find Zeraora under "Species." I have the very latest version of PKHex. (Updated Monday, February 24, 2025) Is it supposed to be there? I'm trying to make one for Pokemon Sun.

Oh, okay. I thought you could trade it over from Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon. But I don't see it anyways even if I'm not trying to put it onto Pokemon Sun.

Yeah those species were introduced in USUM, and weren’t patched into SM. 

It’s like how Giratina’s origin forme doesn’t exist in Diamond and Pearl.

Oh, I see. But if I had a Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon save file, could I make Zeraora?

Yes. But you can't trade it backwards to S/M because it doesn't exist in that game.

It’s like how you can’t trade Giratina’s origin form into Diamond and Pearl..

When we say “it doesn’t exist”, it means the species isn’t even programmed into the game. No picture. No stats. no index number (for that).

you could hack in the index number, but you’ll get a corrupted mess that isn’t Zeraora.
 

Kinda like how Deoxys doesn’t exist in Crystal..

Or Arceus doesn’t exist in Emerald
