Can confirm this happens from the game without modification. A friend sent me a video showing his redeem a few days ago. Unsure if there is a nickname flag but the name in French saves is its species name, Pijako, and not the name it's supposed to be (Pijouk I believe). Kaphotics Posted July 10, 2023 Share Posted July 10, 2023 Looks like the console itself is preventing it from setting a badword (thanks Anubis!) Pijo is spanish slang, which trips on Pijouk. We were able to identify the root word flagged by trying to set the real nickname ourselves and removed characters until it allowed us to set Pij. Very funny, Nintendo & ILCA.
