SCV Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) Hi all. Due to defienace being down we are now at irc.pchnet.org. Same channels as before. I have already modified the java applet on the site to point there. For those of you with IRC clients point your client to that server. See you there, EDIT: We have decided to stay at PCHNet. Thanks to all who contributed their opinions and enjoy the new server. Thanks to the PCHNet staff as well for allowing us to use their server. Edit: We've been on Bit'sJoint IRC for a long time at this point. The network hostname is irc.bitsjointirc.net using port 6667. The Java client should automatically connect. Edited November 16, 2010 by Alpha Waaaay outdated.
Soldjermon Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 well this sucks. old IRC server is down, and I can't even connect to the new one.. XP ugh! what more can go wrong...? - Soldjermon
xorhash Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Maybe temporary... No way this can be temporary! No more #defianceshard being forced upon us, the staff is nice and their help channels actually help you. Move, please.

Also, welcome to PCHNet (Pokemon Chat Hub Network) - temporary or not, you're all welcome.

I've been using mIRC for at least 10 years, I know my way around it. the server wouldn't connect for me. ;P but now it's working, since I tried it again. - Soldjermon
SCV Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 I have updated the first post with our decision about the IRC Server which we shall use.
Soldjermon Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 good thing that I don't have-to be forced to join the official channel for that server anymore.. it was getting really annoying as.. well, you know the word. >3> - Soldjermon
Drohn Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 (edited) I can't connect for some reason:S is the port 6667? EDIT: The website IRC isn't working for me either. Edited November 14, 2010 by Drohn New info
randomspot555 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Not working for me either Then you're doing something wrong. The IRC client on the site is working fine. I'd suggest using that if you can't figure out how to get your IRC client on your computer to work. This isn't a thread for help.
