Cyber Gadget Save Editor 2 stops its services

Hi,

I have recently started playing Pokemon Omega Ruby again after 2 years or so. I was attempting on using my cyber gadget save editor 2 to edit my save file, however the software said that services has been terminated last year. I was wondering if anyone would happen to know if I can still use my save editor 2 hardware to access my save files or is it completely useless by now?

My game is the physical version btw.

Nope, it does all decryption server side.

You can hack your 3ds quite easily nowadays; I'd recommend the custom firmware route for editing your saved data.

Ah.... I see. Is there a guide as to how I can install the custom firmware and how can i access my save file with it?

Once you have CFW installed you van use homebrew apps like Checkpoint or JKSM. Check the tutorials about that.
