I can't generate a legit Mr.Mime in Gen 1

Trying to generate a legit Mr. Mine in Gen 1, I used the same nickname, ID and OT, and still flagged as illegal.

If I'm not mistaken, the OT isn't actually "TRAINER" (in Gen 1)

The "TRAINER" text is something stored in the game (not save), and a certain byte draws that from the game text.
This is the MARCEL in the gift/trades pack, and it's legal.
I'm assuming this is true for other Pokemon with "TRAINER" as OT.
