I was wondering if it would be possible to not only change the character's sprite, but also it's picture/animation in close-ups, for example when starting a battle or something like that, because this of course stays the same. So if it was possible to, for example, change the picture of HG/SS hero male/female to Platinum hero male/female... so it wouldn't look so weird when a sprite starts throwing pokeballs looking like someone else entirely. I'm guessing the chances aren't too big because there's probably no picture of the Platinum male/female hero in the game... but would it work, in theory?
