ZonEnder
I made the mistake of ending my file with out knowing there was an update to the game, so I edited my save then imported it to the game, then updating my game (was mashing buttons with out looking) So now it wont load and crashes as soon as I hit the game to play. If someone would be kind enough to allow me to have a copy of a completed save file or unfinished save that has the update that would be grand, or any help to fix the issue. If this is the wrong spot or, a thread like this is started let me know Ill make the changes that need to be done so the thread is in the correct spot. Thank you. Thank you. erm, editing your save file, even when there's a game update, doesn't impact the game progress. Upload a copy of that save file for us to see. edit: @ZonEnder if you're still having troubles, try using this tool, then open the fixed save into PKHeX.
ZonEnder
Sorry been a while since I was able to have time or internet, here is one of my saves, it loads into PKHEX fine, but when I run the game it just crashes, if need be I can grab one of the crash dumps. If you know how to read those. @theSLAYER main Edited May 17, 2018 by ZonEnder

If you know how to read those. @theSLAYER main Game loads. If it crashes, it's probably because you aren't importing the save properly into the game. Make sure the only file in the folder is main. Nothing else. (or maybe you're running a modified game?)

I did have the no outline set up, would the plug-in be the reason its crashing, seeing the game updated and I would need an updated no outline plug-in? Ultra Sun says my datas corrupted, so I assume thats an easy fix, Ultra Moon gives me that error message. Let me try turning off the plugin. Disable plugins or remove them from the folders, and that should work.

theSLAYER
How is UM installed? Double check the Luma folders, and disable plugins altogether first. If the save file was corrupt, the game would still load, but tell you the save file is corrupted. That screen you shown me, is a game problem, not save problem. What are you using to import the saves. JKSV? Checkpoint? Savedatafiler?

This normally happens when: 1. theres other files inside your folder when you import 2. secure value needs to be deleted. import save, delete secure value, then launch the game. 1 minute ago, PokemonKing99 said: use checkpoint it is better that's not necessarily very helpful, if people prefer JKSM.
