Requesting save request to get passed aloha photo issue for pokemon ultra sun in citra

I'm on mac and the pkhex doesn't play nice atm, wondering if anyone can help me get passed this aloha photo club issue. Currently when I enter the aloho photo club it starts through a tutorial then basically crashes with black screen. I'm in process of uploading my 3ds file, in hopes someone can help me. Best.

 

 

EDIT: I'm using Citra since that's the only 3ds emulator I've found for mac at the moment.

I thought the Alola photo issue only occurs to Citra?

Yes youre right. I'm using Citra at the moment, I wasn't able to find another 3ds emulator for mac.

If you still havent figured it out. @theSLAYER made a tool a few weeks ago to help with this problem

additionally, @BlackShark informed me that the latest update of Citra doesn't have this problem anymore!
