If the wc7 from the gallery is faulty that is because it was copied from the Pokemon link data, which represents the greninja you specifically got. Slight correction to that: gen 7 doesn't use the link data. the demo specifically sends out a wc7 to your main game with the PID based on the one you receive in the demo. so yes, it technically can be rerolled, just that it can't be shiny.
