Golden Empoleon Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Hi! I'm new to the forums, but I've been using Pokésav for almost 10 months. I could generate very good pokemon that passed PBR tests, but I didn't tak the Hex values into account. A while ago, I finally learned The file attached is the file of a shiny SubPetayaEmpoleon, and I would really like to see if it would pass a Video Game Championship hack check. Thanks for reading this!! Golden Empoleon GoldnEmpln.pkm
Eon-Rider Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 It looks fine. However, the fact that the Pokemon is shiny may attracted unwanted attention.
Rose[Idle] Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 It passed the Legality checker, since it is possable to get a pokemon like this I am sure it will pass the VGC hack test. But I am not to sure how strict those hack test are, it's best to try and find out.
Mikaelamarzano Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 It will pass just fine, but your probably still going to be questioned and potentially kicked out. You might just want make him not shiny. There is no reason it has to be. The chance of a shiny Piplup to hatch shiny is very difficult especially with those IVs. Less than one in a million chance of getting you're Empoleon.

I'm gonna tell you, it would be even weirder if a shiny Piplup didn't hatch shiny. Why would it matter anyway? Once they know it's legal, they can't just kick you out if your Pokémon are okay.
Soladept Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Its always smart to announce your presence, intentions, and leave an IP trace on the internet too. Because, i would suspect that they would do background checks on serious partiicpants.
Guested Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 We don't condone cheating for tournaments here. The bottom line is that we don't know how intensive Nintendo's checks are, and you are better off simply NOT cheating for official tournaments.
