Mewtwo Ex Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 OK. Post you favorite anime shows below that you watch often or have a liking to. Post up to five names. My favorite are: #1 - Pokemon #2- DragonBall/Z/GT/Kai #3 - Naruto Shippuden #4 - Naruto #5 - Ben10 - Alien Force
Akaria Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Ben 10, an anime, really? Anyway, I hardly watch anime at the moment but if I have spare time I tend to watch Dragon Ball Kai for nostalgia's sake, though I do prefer the English voicecasting, I suppose it depends on what you're brought up on. I occasionally watch Pokemon on afternoon-tv but generally I'm not impressed with the story. I enjoyed watching Bleach but I just stick to the manga nowadays, I prefer it. The last anime series I watched through all the way through was Ouran High School, before it got popular and hundreds of cosplayers and the sort, good series. Maybe one day I'll watch more than one episode of Gurren Lagaan, just never got to doing it.
HottSushiz Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Uhm Ben 10: Alien Force isn't an anime. It's created in the US i believe, although i love the show, and the movie was awesome. Anime i watch: (in normal font and colour:biggrin:) Naruto Death Note Dragonball Dragonball Z Dragonball Gt Dragonball Kai (does this count?) Shaman King Yu Yu Hakusho Fullmetal Alchemist Bleach Naruto Shippuden Beyblades Yu-gi-oh (wut? there was no show better to watch) Digimon Soul Eater Card Captors Megaman NT warriors Gundam Seed Gundam Seed Destiny Gundam Strike Gundam Wing (mah fav out of all Gundams) InuYasha Trinity Blood Zoids Chaotic Century One Piece Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Devil May Cry Zatch Bell Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Tsubasa Chronicles Hunter X Hunter Hmm i think that's all, i may missed one or two.

Toffeuy Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 I didn't watch much anime apart from Pokemon but here are some: Death Note One Piece Naruto (I watched like only 30 episodes, does that count?)
ALCHEMIST Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 I don't watch anime much anymore, but this is what I've watched recently: 1)Gurren Lagann ( the best anime series EVER!) 2)Death Note 3)Fullmetal Alchemist 4)Bleach 5)Yu-Gi-Oh ( occasionally, but I prefer the actual card game more) 6)Azumanga Daioh
HottSushiz Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Wow i watched, i think Episode 7 of Full Metal Alchemist, and dam that's such a sad episode. I actually cried! two tears fell down. I think I'm going to take a break of that anime. Perhaps Bleach: Diamond Dust Rebellion will cheer me up.
Enzo Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Recently, I've watched through Tsubasa Chronicles, and now I've just started on Black Butler. I watch most anime with my girlfriend, and she picks most of that out. My favourite anime ever, though? Love Hina.

Endless Eden Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 does avatar count? stick that in with my others.
HottSushiz Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Avatar is actually not anime. Anime is Japanese cartoon animation while, Avatar is created in the U.S. Also i don't think Nickelodeon makes any anime.
Mewtwo Ex Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 In my country everything that was drawn by hand is called anime or cartoon. Also related to the posts regarding my choice about Ben 10 Alien Force, a third season is being made... I am considering it as the other multi season series anime shows.
Kaarosu Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 *cough*Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu*coughsuckscough* <== Endless Eight I've watched all of the listed above and more throughout the years, but I'm currently following: Naruto Shippuden Bleach One Piece Needless Basquash Hayate no Gotoku 2nd Season Phantom Saki Bakemonotogari Princess Lover Spice and Wolf 2nd Season And many more I watch throughout the week they're all pretty good.
Substitute Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 In order of favorites: 1. Death Note 2. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood 3. Full Metal Alchemist 4. Code Geass 5. Case Closed And currently watching Spiral, and I stopped watching pokemon a loooong time ago..actually never even finished the first season.
wraith89 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Eh, I don't watch much anime Let's see... if I were to name some... 1) RomeoXJuliet 2) Scrapped Princess 3) DragonBall/DragonBallZ 4) Many of Miyazaki's films (there are SOOOO many) 5) Some others like Grave of the Fireflies and that... I don't really watch your everyday anime, meh...
Akaria Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Completely forgot about Outlaw Star, one of the best anime's that I've seen and will stand the test of time. CN over here back in the 90's, when Toonami was just an hour slot. It would show Dragon Ball Z then Tenchi Muyo or Gundam Wing, those were good times. Outlaw Star was always around 10pm when Toonami became it's own channel. I retract my past statement about what anime's I'll watch, I think I'll go back to my roots and see some real classics. I've yet to watch Cowboy Bebop and have heard good things. Will probably throw in a few Miyazaki films, as after seeing Spritied Away, I was blown away (ba-dum-tssh) by the amount of effort and detail that goes into the films.
SkyFormeSheimi Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 KAAROSU! How can you say Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu sucks!? D:
damio Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 *cough*Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu*coughsuckscough* <== Endless Eight That's how.
Goldgross Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Haha well my Fave anime is a hard choice between the Pokemon and Dragonballs Series. Naruto Bakugan Battle Brawlers......got boring after a while and took ages to understand Beyblade Duel Masters Justice League Superman Spiderman (most Series on Fox) Batman and Batman Of the Future was pretty sick Ben Ten - Alien Force (waiting for new episodes) Tons of stuff on Power Zone long time ago on CN. HottSushiz Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Justice League Superman Spiderman (most Series on Fox) Batman and Batman Of the Future was pretty sick Ben Ten - Alien Force (waiting for new episodes) Tons of stuff on Power Zone long time ago on CN. Ya know Centurions, Bird Man, Space Ghost Um those aren't anime:tongue: Man! what is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood? is it like Naruto's Shippuden? i guess I'll watch it, after I'm finished with the first FMA, only 15 episodes to go. Why didn't i watch this series earlier, but the only thing i didn't like about the anime is that it made me shed 2 tears twice. :biggrin:
Skyfire Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I got so much, can't even name all of them: My Favorites: - Fullmetal Alchemist - Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - Bleach (manga) - One piece (manga) - Naruto (manga) - Code gease - Death note - Eye shield 21 - Claymore - Hunter x HUnter - Inuyasha - Dragon ball/z/kai - Case closed - Soul Eater (manga)
Kaarosu Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 FMA Brotherhood is a remake of FMA that follows the Manga. Though Goldcross mentioned cartoons, I must say I watched that Green Lantern origins movie it was pretty good.
