trademaster Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) Do you guys know any ways to transfer pokemon to a cartridge with pokegen? (Other the action replay) Edited March 6, 2014 by trademaster
Kaphotics Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 PokeGen is a program that modifies save files and pkm files. None of that has to do with WFC. You can still use PokeGen after they shut down WFC.
trademaster Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) Whoops! I did mean PokeCheck! (At the time) Edited March 6, 2014 by trademaster
Codr Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 PokeGen has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with some website you use. How can you even think it does? ...
trademaster Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 Oh, I know it has nothing to do with the program itself. I'm just new to PokeGen and it was the way I found out how to transfer the pokemon using their .pkm files on to the cartridge. Now, is there another way to get them to my game? (Without Action Replay) I'm just new to the program and I'm still experimenting with it! Good job on making the program by the way.
Kaphotics Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Action Replay or Save File editing. You either need a Flashcart or a Save file reader/writer to get your savegame to edit it.
trademaster Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 I have a flashcart, so what program will read/write the saves? Will pokegen do it?

trademaster Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 I just need help editing the pokemon onto the .SAV file itself.
Kaphotics Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Hence what you use PokeGen for. Open SaveFile -> Edits... -> Save SaveFile
trademaster Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 And these pokemon I write to the save file will be totally legal? (Obviously if I give them the right moves, PID, etc.)
trademaster Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Okay thanks, I'll try it out for myself.
