1. Get Game Maker 7. It's free and relatively easy to learn.

2. Download tutorials on Game Maker 7. They'll make it even easier to learn.

As for ideas, well, I find brainstorming is a good way to go.

Try a basic plot first. For example, "an unlikely hero must rescue his girlfriend from a mysterious evil kidnapper."

Game Maker tends to teach you some pretty bad coding habits. Its interpreter should be more strict.

You're not joking. What I want to do is learn Flash/C++.

I still recommend Game Maker for the beginner because you don't even have to use code.

no it's not were did you get it free i have game maker 6 (unregistered)
