Dark Ray Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 LA doesn't seem to be checking for the DW flag on events, http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=3231053 is not legal.
Agonist Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=2225541 This isn't the event one.
Hozu Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=3234651 I'm guessing not all of the wondercards for the Super-Strong JP events were added to the database. I got the pgf from the event page here at pp.org
Hozu Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 The GeoNet locations seem to be different between 4th gen and 5th gen. I'm guessing that it has to do with the incompatibility between Korean games and all other language games in 4th gen.
Hozu Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 While it's not possible to register the save file with an OT that matches an existing event, it is possible to do it before the event was added to the database. I guess it comes down to Xfr's judgment as to what should happen with that...
Hozu Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=3375553 Deoxys\xFFFF\xFFFF\xFFFF\xFFFF\xFFFF Those aren't valid Pal Park trash bytes are they?
Hymmnos Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Dark Pulse is coming up as illegal / red on Genesect. http://www.pokecheck.org/?screenshot=3387085&la The tutor in Lentimas / Yamaji town teaches it for 10 Blue Shards. Any comments on this?
illustica Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Hehehe, reporting a false alarm. http://www.pokecheck.org/?screenshot=3427220&la http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=3427187 It says "Invalid Egg Receive Date" and "Met Date Is In the Future" I live in an advanced timezone, so IT IS February 1st. c: Don't know why it should say that, hahaha I live in the future!

Orange color isn't a flag for "Hacked", it's a caution. If it were illegal, you'd get the red color. (There's no false positive here!)

Hozu Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Just so you know, the default time for the server is PST. Since you live in Australia, if you catch something after midnight for about... I want to say a 20 hour window, your time zone is one day ahead of the server. Hence, it's considered in the future. Dark Pulse is coming up as illegal / red on Genesect.http://www.pokecheck.org/?screenshot=3387085&la The tutor in Lentimas / Yamaji town teaches it for 10 Blue Shards. Any comments on this? I think this is a result of the original tutor list rip was missing Genesect and Deoxys forms. Thus stuff had to be added manually (?).
TheDoc Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I've been having the trouble of "Ability Valid, does not match PID" on my Carracosta... Is there a reason for this? I have the same problems.
Hozu Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 It means exit out of Pokesav/Pokegen/Pokedit and get your mons in-game.
Hozu Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 "WAAAH MY HACKS ARE SHOWING UP AS HACKS" Working as intended.
Snow Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 YES! It works! - Thank you! And what is by my Starmie in Platin: "Requires modest lead synchronizer"? Locations Valid encounter (esv=85, slot 3, super rod). Requires modest lead synchronizer It means the poke was caught with a modest sync like mew.
Agonist Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 it is legal or illegal now? Well since you clearly didn't have any idea what that means, despite being necessary to actually get it, it's quite obviously hacked.
Hozu Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=3474677 A user reported that downloading a mon into his Pearl game's PC caused his game to freeze every time he accessed his PC. If this is true, then it would be wise to make it impossible to download mons with no name via GTS.
dcrispell7 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=3478124 ► Locations Possible method J/K slots don't match encounter. Riolu appeared on slot 5 for me based on the number of blocks I had and the fact that they leveled up. Given the fact that a person can manipulate the blocks in the SZ a person can pretty much put the pokemon on any slot they want (granted, it may take a few months to let the blocks level up enough to drag out other pokemon, but it is still possible). Interestingly enough, another pokemon that only appears with the blocks, Beldum http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=3468924 shows up just fine. EDIT: http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=3479053 The LA doesn't seem to like Bagon either. Edited February 5, 2013 by dcrispell7
mirkosp Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=3480657 Gives an "Unknown GBA PID." error ─ this was caught as a shroomish in my sapphire cartridge, though I think I was playing on Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire for the Game Cube. It was then trained and evolved in leaf green, in which it had the TMs taught, then passed onto soulsilver and finally black.

Ran the PID through SCV's IVPID, no match. Ran the IVs to search for any nature... Likely another RNG formula if this is legitimate. Pretty certain that it is not a PIDIV derived from the gen3/4 LCRNG formula.
Hozu Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Box R/S is the same as playing on a GBA in terms of the Pokémon generation function. That Breloom isn't even the fabled Method 3 so...
dcrispell7 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=3485147 Tailwind shows up as hacked for Vibrava (interestingly enough, it registers fine for flygon http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=3485165)
