Zwei Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Just wondering how the progress on supporting Gen IV files are coming along?
Catboy Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 My Port is forwarded to 25565 (Minecraft Purposes.) Is that what is effecting my "communications error. Please turn off the power"?
Catboy Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Ok. Can you answer my other question? Can someone help with this? I first tried changing only primary DNS to 192.168.001.006 and it connects (Green Bars) then says"communication error, please turn off the power." So i set both DNS' to 192.168.001.006 and it does the same thing. What do I do?
jasterj Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 try removing the 0s put 192.168.1.6. Ive never had to put that many zeros before.
Butterfree 1967 Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 they were getting errors with it, but I am not worried now that Shiny GTS came out! Just FYI, when I use IR-GTS BW, I completely turn off my firewall, just so I know I have no problems! so I don't think that was the issue....
Catboy Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 (edited) My windows fire wall is off, but I cant do anything with norton! my firewall button is grey and I cannot click it! EDIT: My DSi automatically adds the zeros. I make my DNS 193.168.1.7 and it automatically makes it 192.168.001.007. Edited March 29, 2011 by Catboy Needed more info
MisterT Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 It is really strage: 3 days ago, the IR-GTS-BW was working perfectly for me. Sending pkm to the game worked, from game to PC worked. Everything was fine. But now, the last one or two days, I always get connection errors (52100). I tried it without firewall and everything but I cannot connect. I don't know where the problem is because I am not doing anything other than 3 days ago where it was working so good. I got no programs online which use port 80 or sth like this. Anybody an idea where the problem could be?
Haxtore Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Works for me. Can someone post how to mod the python file so the pokemon will be automatically sent every time i go to GTS without having to set the .pkm file location every time?
I obviously need help Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Also reordered the IV/EV output. It's starting to seem like there is still an error with the IV/EV output. I've asked on other forums about how to straighten my situation out, but it always ends up as being inconclusive. Anyway, I have used 2 Pokemon editing tools so far- Pokesav and PokeGen, and it makes no difference. I'm trying to get a Golurk with these stats- Level 50 Adamant Nature HP: 177/31 IVs/100 EVs Attack: 173/31 IVs/110 EVs Defense: 113/31 IVs/100 EVs Special Attack: 67/31 IVs/0 EVs Special Defense: 113/31 IVs/100 EVs Speed: 88/31 IVs/100 EVs Instead, my Golurk came out like this with the same IV/EV spread- Level 50 Adamant Nature HP: 177 Attack: 173 Defense: 113 Special Attack: 79 Special Defense: 113 Speed: 75 And then when I set its Special Attack IV stat to 0 IVs, it comes out like this- Level 50 Adamant Nature HP: 177 Attack: 173 Defense: 113 Special Attack: 79 Special Defense: 113 Speed: 60 So somehow the Special Attack IVs are getting mixed up with the Speed IVs.
TechnoGuy Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Hey guys, I am a new user, yet I am very familiar with the GEN 4th GTS Exploit, and upon some googlling, I found this thread! So, I have a few questions for this program; 1. This DOES indeed work with retail english black and white and accepts .pkm files to be sent (more specefic on this?) (made with a version of pokesav that is B/W compatible? 2.Will this work on WPA? the file I downloaded is labeled: "ir-gts-v0.42.zip" This is THE correct version, no? I apologize for being ignorant if I am, however, I am at school and have no ability to check immediatley. Thank you to IR for making this program, it is very convenient.

Yes, Pokegen files are used as well (136-PC/220-Party for BW .pkm files) 2. Only if you have a DSi I believe / and the file you need is "ir-gts-bw-v0.03.zip" notice the bw
Awkward Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I have a perplexing problem. So, I was having trouble sending Pokemon to the game, but I finally got it to work. I have received three Pokemon, two were sent from B/W, altered, and sent back. Now, I am getting error code 13274, which from what I have read, means busy GTS. This has been happening for two days straight now. I have tried every combo of DNS, and when I put in both slots or just primary, I get this. If I put it only in secondary, I get regular GTS. Can anyone help me?

DreamWeaver Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Ok, so I'm able to access the GTS with the DNS given by the python thingie. I'm also able to send pokemon from my Black game to my PC. What I'm not able to do is send a Pokemon made in Pokegen to my game. When I press 's' for send it asks me to drag the .pkm file and when I do so my python window suddenly closes. I manage to take a quick screenshot of the error and looks something like this. I've tried sending a Pokemon made from Pokegen, a Pokemon from sent from my game and modified on Pokegen and a Pokemon sent from my game unmodified. Neither of them worked. Help please.

Could be the directory that you have it in, with the periods messing things up? Move your gts folder to C:/Users and try again

clouds45 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Get an 052100-1 error on trying to connect- tried on both my laptop running Snow Leopard and my desktop running windows 7 (firewall off). I’m on a large public network which I suspect might be an issue- anyway for this program to work on an ad-hoc or do I need to wait till I have access to a smaller network?
clouds45 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Okay, got over the connecting to wifi issue- now I just a 13275 every time I try to transfer a pokemon

I'm trying to get a Golurk with these stats-So somehow the Special Attack IVs are getting mixed up with the Speed IVs. Have you tried depositing the Pokemon into the PC and retrieving it again? If not, it may be a problem with the 'boxtoparty' function within IR-GTS. Otherwise, IR-GTS doesn't change the .pkm file at all, so what goes in will come out on the DS. Can anyone else confirm this issue? Also, sorry I've disappeared from the forums the past few days. I've been pretty busy with class and work, and I have a job interview coming up that I've been preparing for. Thanks to everyone offering assistance in this thread!
paperfairy Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I was previously using this program (and any other program built from sendpkmn) in Windows Safe Mode, so as to free up all of my ports - I could never figure out what was clogging port 80. I finally figured out what was using port80 and disabled the service. GTS programs can now run, but my DS will only connect to my computer every so often. The following is a log from ShinyGTS, but I presume that IR-GTS is doing the same thing, just not as verbose. Upon the FIRST attempt, there is a "CONNECTED ESTABLISHED" every time, but the Pokémon does not send until after at least four attempts. So when the bold stuff happens, I get a Pokémon, but it only happens once of every four attempts, (or rather, it is never LESS than four, sometimes more). I suspect it's because sendpkmn uses more ports than just 80 and I need to figure out what they are and free them, but perhaps I'm wrong, and if so, what is wrong here? EDIT: Ah, another thing: when running IR-GTS outside of Safe Mode, dragging .pkm files does literally nothing - i need to type in the path and name for IR-GTS to work. ideas on that?
