A question about PIDs and their relation(or lack thereof) with IVs and Natures

Hello

I've been looking around for a code to change the IVs for some of my pokemon, I have found one but then discovered that changing them would make the pokemon "Illegal" as the PIV would not correspond to the changes, but however in this page its been stated that PIVs in Gen 5 have no relation to IVs and Natures whatsoever, this has left me confused, does merely changing the pokemon's IVs via an AR Code affect its PIV(making it illegal) or not? Can someone set me straight on this?

I'd like to have some verification on this as well. I'm pretty sure it would still be completely legal. Does it matter how you change the IV's? I know PID only corresponds to ability, gender, and possibly shinyness (not positive).

PID doesn't relate to IV's.

Is that the only code that you used on a freshly caught Pokemon? Cause it doesn't sound like it. The largest problem which seems to be obvious on this forum is people who use the EV mods and go over the 510 limit or my favorite: those trying to mod Nature. In the 5th Gen, Pokemon data stores the Nature in two places and as part of the PID. Its the easist way for the online to detect illegal Pokemon.

Nature isn't stored in the PID this generation, that only applies for 4th gen mons transferred to the 5th gen, and the occasional coincidence.

If this is true... I have lot more than the occassional coincidence on my Japanese White.

I've used the Perfect IV codes on some trained pokemon on my team, I haven't used the EV codes on Generation 5 yet, but in Gen 4 I've always checked my EVs and deleted all of them before adding them, and they were allowed in Pokemon Battle Revolution(Even the ability hacks(I wanted a Speed Boost Yanmega) passed)

I tried a nature mod on a few pokemon but haven't tested them online(Its not working :( ), but if they were found as "illegal" can I just use the nature cheat to change them back to the original nature? (Making them legal again)

What do you guys mean, occasional coincidence? Could you please explain?

that means that the so called "coincidence" appeared a little bit too often to be coincident anymore, which lead us to the result that these PKMN were illegal through online Play somehow.....but maybe there´s someone workin´for a solution that "normal" modified pkmn were now stated as legal!
