Twig Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 My family and I will be attending the event in Arcadia next weekend.
Guest Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 According to Serebii.net, this mall tour will be distributing Celebi as well. I hope someone can contribute that Celebi's Wondercard, if it indeed is available there.
Kaphotics Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I will be going to the San Jose one with a few people from Smogon, but not with a flash cart.
Guest Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Do they check if you have a flashcart or something?
princeken09 Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 As far as I know, the distribution cart just sends the Pokemon to everybody who used Mystery Gift via Wireless. So just go in by the DS with distribution cart and use Mystery Gift, without anyone sees a MicroSD slot on your cart.

xXSceptileXx Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Went there two weeks ago. Got Celebi. The demo sucks. Won an Oshawott Plushie in the Stamp Hunt. Bought a Snivy PLushie. Very fun.

Tsujin Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 People said it was very short which it was from videos I've seen and you started with a random starter and 2 other pokemon I believe. Can't remember for sure.
Kaphotics Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 You battled two trainers and started off in the town with Dragon Spiral Tower. Deerling, Starter (random), and Chillarmy(??) Yeah, it sucked. Basically the game was hard wired into a modified DSlite, so there were no cartridges in those DSes. It was hardly worth the wait. If you beat those two trainers and talked to the professor, your game reset. If you whited out, your game reset. If you went past 15 minutes of playing, your game reset. No buildings were accessible (NPCs blocked them off). Totally sucked. Now that the GameStop Celebi is the exact same Wonder Card, it makes the entire event suck even more. The only good thing about the whole event was the free spins (which took an hour to do, even though the prizes were pretty bad) and the things you can buy.
xXSceptileXx Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Why did the demo suck? You have to battle Cheren and Bel. They only have like one pokemon. You only have a random starter, a zorua, and a deerling. That's pretty much the whole demo.
xXSceptileXx Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 How much do you want for the Oshawott Plushie??? I have to have it. I'm not sure. If I were to sell it, I'd sell it for 15 - 20 dollars.

The line for the Prize Redemption took so long. BUt it was worth it when I got the plushie.
Twig Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 My family and I went the the mall tour in Arcadia. It was really crowded, but because the tour was split into several different stations, it wasn't too bad. The prices at the Pokemon Center were pretty insane. $10 for a small plushie, $20 for a youth t-shirt. All in all we had fun, I picked up an adult XL Reshiram t-shirt, and Pikachu and Zorua plushies.

I was there too. I live pretty close by that location. Those plushies is where they make the cream of the crop money. Man, Pokemon, probably better than fortune 300 companies in making money.
