Games: English Names for Starters Revealed

The official<a href="http://www.pokemonblackwhite.com/en-us/the-starter-pokemon/"> North American site</a> for Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version has revealed the English names for the three starters.  The Grass-type starter is <strong>Snivy</strong>, the Water-type starter is <strong>Oshawott</strong>, and the Fire-type starter is <strong>Tepig</strong>.  </p>

The English name of the new region has also been revealed.  It will be called <strong>Unova</strong>.  This is in contrast to previous regions, which were very similar in pronounciation between Japanese and English.</p>

The Black and White games are due out in Spring 2011.</p>

Oshawott: River Otter or Lake Otter

"Oshawa comes from the Ojibwa word Aazhaway and literally means "Crossing to the other side of a river or lake"."

The English names... Well, "Snivy" is not bad... but "Oshawott"?! Come on! >_> the eff is that?!

Tsutaria is barely pronouncable in English.

Bleh, I kinda like Snivy.. but the others just don't click with me. Doesn't matter much since i always rename my starter. Though i still wish they'ed have put more thought onto naming them..

Snivy is alright but i prefer Pokabu i don't know why they changed his name it was good the way it was... not even gonna start on the water starter name it's just stupid. Also I prefer Unova to Isshu.
