Feebas (in D/P), rare?

Well, I think it must be because there always have to be that one rare Pokemon is horribly hard to catch.

Good question, Floot. Why did Nintendo make them so difficult to find?

Honestly, I can't come up with much. The Dex entry says that they're hard to find, but show up in hordes once you find where they are.

That makes absolutely no sense since there is only one tile that changes per day. It can't come in groups.

Eh, that's just what it says in the Diamond Dex.

While populous, they tend to cluster in set locations.

I was basing my guess on that.

Feebas aren't worth the hassle. Import it from Hoenn, much easier.

It appears so. I did a little research a few years ago. I missed it in the pokedex to. An then i cought it in Emerald.

Nintendo made Feebas hard to "locate" maybe due to the fact that Milotic is considered by many to be the most beautiful pokemon. In fact, to evolve Feebas, you need you max it's beauty.

Milotic is awesome! So huge and powerful, plus it is beautiful. Why it wouldn't be called the most beautiful is surprising. Feebas rare because its rare ok. I think though if anything it would be rare because of its evolution.

Now the question is, how do you correctly max the beauty stat in legitimate terms? I always tend to mess this up >.< Which always screwed up my Master Contests back in Hoenn when it came to the cool contest D:

Give it all beauty poffins/pokeblocks, then you'll be able to max out the beauty and bam! one level up and you have a milotic. Plus, I think beauty contests help.

Hm, and it's the same way to catch one in Platinum, correct? Search every. single. tile. in that lake? Just want to make sure, seeing as I've already done three rows...

Oh, and will it be the first pokemon found on any given tile, or is it possible for a Barboach or Magikarp to pop up first? Because if that's the case, miss Okami here is screwed D:

Karp or Boach can pop up before Feebas. Yup.

That's why I fish a couple times in each spot.

Ah, merci Aarux, even if that's not what I wanted to hear I just checked serebii to make sure...looks like in Plat I can use my good rod, so I'm all set. Now to just set the patience so as to capture one lol

According to Serebii for D/P Feebas' rarity is "Ultra Rare" as to Pt it says "Interact"

What the heck does that mean? Unless it's just the obvious, which means fishingfishingfishing.

Ok seriously. Why can't I find Magikarp's Ugly Stepsister? I'm looking EVERYWHERE for her... and she's not popping out. Oh well. I have a shiny Milotic (Japanese event) and can breed it... or just Pal Park from RSE b/c Route 119 is generally smaller.

Every day at midnight. And I don't know, I haven't tried it yet.
