Just announced by The Official Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver Website, the Pikachu-Colored Pichu Event that was recently in the United States will be available for European Pokémon Fans to download to their Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum Version(s). The event will start on March 5th, 2010 and will conclude on March 25th, 2010.

The event will be able to be downloaded via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and by using Mystery Gift. Also, with the release of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, you will be able to transfer this Pikachu-Colored Pichu over to unlock the Spiky-eared Pichu event.

In the final two weeks before Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are released in the United Kingdom, GAME.co.uk will be hosting events.

You'll be the first to play HeartGold & SoulSilver, meet other Pokémon fans to trade, collect and battle to determine who is the best trainer. And if that weren't enough there'll be face painting and balloon modelling in selected stores and a Pokémon expert to give you hints and tips - who knows he may accept a challenge or two!

Pokémon.com has officially announced the distribution of Jirachi for Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum versions. The Jirachi is obtain on American version of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum by going to your local Gamestop. Not all Gamestop stores will be participating, so be sure to call prior to going!

Jirachi with Draco Meteor is obtainable no other way, legally, other than this event. Also, with the release of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver on the horizon, you will be able to trade the Jirachi over from Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum version to unlock an event. The event is known as Night Sky's Edge.

To follow up on a previous rumor of a successor to the widely popular Nintendo DS, a new rumor has surfaced that the developmental kits of  the DS 2 are already in the hands of some developers.

As of right now, it seems as though Nintendo is trying to put this new handheld on store shelves by the ending quarter of 2010. This could continue the trend of new Pokémon Generations being released with Nintendo's new handheld.

With Nintendo's media summit just around the corner, February 24th, this may become a truth.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that the Pokémon Ranger: Tracks of Light - Anime Specials will air on the February 28th and March 7th episodes of Pokémon Sunday.

The episodes will air in the new Pokémon Ranger Corner.
