DAMN!! this is one huge thread, maybe i wont get heard :frown: anyway ive seen your work and ive gotta say, its awesome.

i kinda wanted a new sig, as long as it involes mew looking dark, mean and evil, also id like it to say Doc somewhere on it, all in dark colours. i dont mind if there are other pokes on it as long as it looks like mew is kicking their ass. no lame pokes. and smokey if possible.

that outline aint that specific i know, but as long as you stick to what ive said, ill leave the creative stuff up to you guys, im after an avvie too but i guess this isnt the thread for that.

Hey Interface, i'm expecting you'd choose kunaidude34's sig but I just thought I would give it a try. I didn't make a signature for a while so I decided to take the excuse that kunaidude34's sig didn't look like Darkrai was 'Looming over them' so I would make the sig. I also noticed that Shaymin's size comparison to Giratina just isn't right because Shaymin's size is 3/4 of Giratina's. :eek: Here it is:
I've never used like striped and lines that stand out in my sigs before. I would usually make them like just part of the background without much appealing while the other features would display. Not Exactly... cause not everyone has PhotoShop, some programs may lack some effects which only PhotoShop has. And I just realised that the program I use doesn't have liquify, everything else I have but not that. So I am one of those people... :(:frown:

gamexe.net is an awesome source for tutorials and I use it a bunch to learn new things. They have er...two tutorials for GIMP but I'm pretty sure you can make the user bars in GIMP as well as it doesn't require anything special.

They are similar :P Diagonal Lines Pattern is extremely common and the only reason the background is the same is because the Narwhal I used shared some colors with the background Greencat used. I made one for Narwhal out of boredom but sure! I'll get right on it. If anyone else wants a badge just PM me :P

Okay, i'll be on it, i'll use a different Mew, the one you displayed was hopeless and for the Shadow Lugia, it has the website's name tag on it so I guess i'll find another one..

EDIT: Here it is. hope you like it, I can't make any changes in this one. Sorry about that and I know it isn't too good. I used Photoshop for this which makes everything one layer. And somehow I stuffed it up a bit near the shadow lugia part. There aren't many good Shadow Lugia pics, they usually make the picture look really bad because they do look good big but in a sig you need to resize it and a smallened shadow lugia usually can't look good.

EDIT 2: @oni link, that's not bad for a first try, but the one you made seems to lack some quality and it looks like you just copy-pasted the background. Not much point to leave the middle blank, and the name and HGSS logo you put isn't really visible. Try to use pictures that work with the pokemon. Putting a random shadow would make Lugia look good but making something that suits Lugia would make it alot better. Overall, it's pretty good for it to be your first try, to be honest, it was better than my first. Keep trying you'll get better. And btw, would you allow us, artists to use your animated userbar please?

Any ideas on how to choose a featured sig, anyone? I've just been picking ones that I think are pretty awesome, but I don't think that is a good idea. Here's my idea:
If 3 or more artists want it featured, then it will be. Or I could just change it to most recent sig, which would be fine too. Also, I'm starting to think that everyone will use the animated userbar. :\ It would be nice to see variety, not just one that has all of the banners. Also, gif files have to have 256 or less colors, so it lowers the quality a little.

From scratch except for the pokemon, I rendered them. Made the fire at the bottom, the background, and the text glow, along with the fire coming from typhlosion's mouth. :D

Btw, what do you mean by 'evolving'? If we try to make it like that we'll have to get a few mutations of Charmander + Charmeleon and some of Charmeleon + Charizard which is pretty much impossible. Or would you just like those three pokemon from smallest to biggest, that's the closest we could make it to make it look like it's 'evolving'.

I think he wants an animated sig. Text and background stay the same, but the pokemon changes. That would limit it to 256 colors, though. But I think he wants a sig.

Yes, I can make Avatars really well too, but i'm not officially an artist yet. But I saw your request on the Avatar Creation Thread, i'll give it a try.

EDIT: @oni link: I already made him a sig. You can go on with your animation if you want, i'll be fun but it'll be pretty hard trying to limit it to 256 colours
