Anyways, razor leaf gets STAB, I need it. Bite is okay for taking down Ghosts... eh, I'll get rid of Curse. It won't help me in late game.

1) Fire's coverage is redundant with Flying, so no use

2) Heat Wave running off a base special attack of 50? With PLUS nature that thing ends up with 218 SpA... MAX. And that's no good...

Anyways, my Grotle evolved ^^

And it's because I used Staraptor in all my other files. I'm sticking with Noctowl because it's so different... and neglected.

Grinding means to keep training against wild Pokemon until a certain level. Annoying <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

And... that's why I'm refusing to use Staraptor. Because it makes the game too easy along with Infernape. But yes, Staraptor's cool... but I'll go a different route and use Noctowl.

And BTW don't use Heat Wave on Staraptor... it isn't worth it.

I have all three stones, which I found from the ruins.

This is an experimental file... which I will Pokesav AFTER I beat the game. Currently, I screwed up with the EVs, have Quiet Nature Staravia (seriously, it could NOT get any worse), a Brave Nature Floatzel... and yeah...

But still... there are TWO routes leading to Pastoria, so I'll have ample time to train.

Now I need to replace someone for Scyther. And... Noctowl will be my main bird. Staraptor's always been used and is too strong <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

And I'm convinced... this game NEEDS grinding or else I'll end up screwed.

I have my own preferences... I got these names after playing 10 names with people on Shoddy. None of them are named from my preferences.

And I don't have a FLAREON yet... she's STILL an Eevee. I beat Lucario with Golbat + Floatzel... after 5 tries. Fantina took 11 tries for me...

Sheddy's hardly a threat, really So many things, including Toxic/Will-o-Wisp/Stealth Rocks... there's always something that'll own it. PF... still adamant about using Roar on Floatzel? Fine... but don't blame me when something one shots that weasel before it gets a chance to use it. Remember, roar has a NEGATIVE priority, and therefore is best used by bulky Pokemon like Skarmory or Walrein. BTW be specific with what your EVs are for. And you do realize Choice Specs locks you into one move, right? That boost is welcome (Floatzel's SpA of 85 isn't bad, btw) but Roar with Specs is unproductive The thing that resists Dragon is Steel... which makes up most of the metagame. So be CAREFUL when using Outrage. Waterfall + Outrage... resisted by Empoleon and Shedinja EDIT: PF... where are your STEALTH ROCKS?! Without Stealth Rocks, sweeping will be screwed by an inevitable Focus Sasher! Yeah, Touffey is actually right. Aside from Leech Seed and Brave Bird, you have no way of dealing with Shedinja
