    if you have a 3ds with firmware thats too old you can use a game like smash bros the update it to a compatible firmware

    so if i have transferred Pokemon from 5 gen 3 gen or 4 gen and use ramsav to dump my boxes and view the Pokemon will it have my 5 gen 3rd gen and 4th sid

    3ds was out for 4 years but theirs no way they started developing it in the past four years development on this just likely had started last year and it was only made possible due to the 3ds theme update which just came out last year that added java-script in the browser so with out Nintendo adding java script to the 3ds browser this would have never happened

    well if they just got oras they they still do this buy buying another 2ds or old 3ds and updating 1 of them to go online also does oras really require patch to go online and which patch was that the first 1 or second 1

    if you have 2 3ds like i do you can leave 1 updated and one not so you can use 1 to gen and 1 to play the game online also an update for the games are not likely and i think oras has never had a patch in order to play online i only think x and y did and that was because of instacheck and since this exploit does not mess with online like instacheck did a patch probley will never happen that makes you have to download it to go online idk about this but if you firmwares really outdated will it block online for all games

    if you do not care about the eshop you should not need to update at all now until they make it so you need to updated to go online

    it depends on how they patched it to how long it will take to be on newer firmwares they may have only changed one little thing that causes it not to work anymore all they need to work out is what the update had changed to the internet browser and edit the code of the exploit so it works again also of course they need to be able to hack into it onto this firmware to see what has changed which its the hardest part

    will this still support newer pokemon games if their on the 3ds because even if it will make you update you'll be able to use region 3 to use it

    if the next pokemon games are on the 3ds will this be updated for them well when they come out it the firmware that it works on now will be very old and it it will make you update but you should be able to use region 3 to play it

    well the web browser thing is patched and by the time they come out it will make you update in order to play it but you can use region 3 thing to play it on outdated firmware

    you can by a cheap used old 3ds xl or 3ds or 2ds make sure if used though it may have a very out of date firmware that does not work with this so id be better to go with buying a new 2ds but idk if they are now loaded with an update thats not too old to work with this

    it comes in handy if you have 2 3ds systems or a new 3ds and old one don.t update the one you don.t use and you'll be fine even if they make a game update to play online just take game out of old 3ds into the one you use a game updates not likely to happen but if you want to play newer games when they come out and still want to gen you'll need 2 3ds

    also the vc game rom injection allows people to play like games on the eshop they do not own no wonder they patched it

    dam now this will not work for people who have not already downloaded the game before it was patched

    then what happens if they make x and y and oras update to play online so if you want to continue to hack Mons into the games you'll have to have 2 3ds

    if you try to do it with this version will it freeze or 3ds or will it just not work any way i have 2 3ds so not a huge problem

    i know its unreleased but iv seen wifi battles of them on you tube but when i try to use em it does not work

    well their is Pokemon injection via qr but thats only one Pokemon they can do it with with ramsavs by using 1 qr to dump and download the ram save and the other qr code to inject with out having to put files on the sd card

    is could be possibley patched even if you don.t update your system Nintendo could just make it so you have to download the browser update from eshop or the browser can not be used
