Expect uber Pokemon, and whole teams of them. I participated in a local tournament at Gamestop and that's all I fought were legendaries. Not totally sure about official Pokemon tournaments, but I doubt they have rules against uber Pokemon (since tiers are unofficial.)

My first shiny Pokemon was Zubat in Pokemon Ruby Version. About a year later, in 2004, I found a shiny Snorlax in FireRed Version just south of Lavender Town. I didn't find another legitimate shiny Pokemon until I played Pearl Version, where I found a shiny Gastly.

My first shiny Pokemon was Zubat in Pokemon Ruby. I didn't really know anything about shiny Pokemon until I found it. After that I found a shiny Snorlax in FireRed (under Lavender Town) and a shiny Gastly in Old Chateau. I only found three legit shinies, and none were in Johto....

Bad Egg is a sign of an error - you must not be copying the code right or something. That, or there is some data missing. Make sure you fill everything out in Pokesav. The secret ID is exactly what it sounds like....it's a hidden value in the game, much like your normal ID. I guess this is to prevent the same two people from having the same name and ID number from being the OT of the same Pokemon.

There's no point to doing it this way. You'll need to actually activate the code for it to work correctly - you can't just have the item and expect it to work.
