  1. Handsome is known as "Looker" in the US games, and Asura is new from what I know, so I guess that name stays
  2. You fork the main project, and then when you go to a file in your fork, there's an option to edit it.
  3. I'm guessing these are badge descriptions that the gym leaders give? Badge info
  4. I've gotten the gateways for Victory Road translated, and I'm working on the Dragon Spiral Tower pieces now
  5. Hopefully we can make a lot of progress this week for the story. This is gonna be the really fun part of the project
  6. Rename the sav file to match the name of the newly patched game. Maybe they were a little smarter while programming this game lol
  7. The game probably detects when you try to pass that coordinate plane, so the guard will always stop you if you don't have the badge.
  8. Come and go as you choose...that makes perfect sense. Thanks for the help guys
  9. That doesn't seem right, because I went back to talk to the guards, and what they say after you have already opened the gates matches the 3rd line in those files. It can always be fixed later when we figure it out.
  10. Can anyone help me with the 3rd line in 0388? (Story translation) I'll give you credit. It's the first gate heading towards Victory Road. http://github.com/soneek/Pokemon-Black-White-Story-Translation-Files/blob/master/0000/0388.txt
  11. Definitely. A good number of people joined this past week either just to thank everyone that doing this, or to get involved themselves.
  12. Hey Kaarosu in my fork for the story translation, I have two files that are good to go. 0097 and 0438. Is there time to put them into the v1 patch? http://github.com/soneek/Pokemon-Black-White-Story-Translation-Files/blob/master/0000/0097.txt http://github.com/soneek/Pokemon-Black-White-Story-Translation-Files/blob/master/0000/0438.txt
  13. @Chase-san I've finished a couple of files for the story translation. Would you be able to pull them into the main project? They're 0097 http://github.com/soneek/Pokemon-Black-White-Story-Translation-Files/blob/master/0000/0097.txt and 0438 http://github.com/soneek/Pokemon-Black-White-Story-Translation-Files/blob/master/0000/0438.txt I've done some work on other files but they aren't complete yet.
  14. That would definitely save the trouble of having to trade to a JPN game, then Pokeshift.
  15. Alright so it looks like 44 ASCII characters can fit on each line for dialogue. Keep in mind that "space" is also ASCII. Luckily I learned that right before a test...
  16. Sometimes I just copy and paste the code, and just replace the "\xfffe" with a space and put periods in place of the "\xf000븁\x0000." That kind of fixes it, but the messages still end up out of place.
  17. I'm using multiple translators for the harder stuff, but this one is pretty good. http://www.ocn.ne.jp/translation/ The files in 0000 are the same as 0001, but 0001 has them in Kanji. If you're using a translator, translate the Kanji, and then edit the corresponding file in 0000. The Kanji is easier for translators to understand, but it still won't give everything word for word. It only gives the main points, so you;re gonna have to get creative when you edit the files.
  18. Mainly everything here. http://github.com/projectpokemon/Pokemon-Black-White-Story-Translation-Files/tree/master
  19. This is gonna be pretty fun -__- Lol but thanks I'll definitely use that as a reference
  20. So \xfffe starts a new line? Alright so how many characters can fit into one line in this game? I need to make some edits on my translations according to that.
