  1. I see. That's fine enough. Whether the menu options to link the games are translated/working is a good idea to investigate, but outside the scope of this topic.
  2. Then the most authentic we'll get, is by hacking Ranger to change which region game the mission will link to.
  3. Okay. OT and nickname don't matter for eggs. That just leaves the question of how make the game display the Korean equivalents of "A very mysterious Pokemon Egg that came from Pokemon Ranger" and "Pokemon Ranger Egg Arrived".
  4. Anybody know if a Korean Manaphy Egg was distributed? Or a way to activate the event as close as it would've been intended. Pokemon Ranger wasn't released in Korea, but the location met and associated text might be translated (if unused) in the gen 4 games.
  5. No. Korea and Japanese games were first compatible in Black and White.
  6. Korean GS has buggy support for non-Japanese games, including Crystal. A few interface issues where longer names overrun the dialogue box. Sometimes trying to link may freeze up too. It's kind of unavoidable for completionists. Supposedly Mew and Celebi were never distributed to gen 2 in Korea. gen 5 at long last introduced normal trading with Korean
  7. Right I forgot about that code. AR being what it is, you can change the sent data into almost anything if so inclined.
  8. Shouldn't we first make sure the codes we have work? As I've been trying to explain all along, nobody online I know about has specifically proven that the PAL version of Colosseum is capable of transferring Celebi and Pikachu to a GBA. To be fair it's not impossible Nintendo's translators goofed, and German Colosseum sends them with a Japanese OT and nickname like the picture I linked to earlier implies.
  9. Just remember to convert the save to USA English, and use USA Colosseum. If what I saw in Dolphin several months ago is correct, the actual dialogue pointers in the PAL version of the game are broken and the e-reader connection screen doesn't appear.
  10. Not directly. You can enter the e-reader room in PAL, but the game won't connect to the e-reader that way. javier_himura mentioned a workaround to try earlier.
  11. Yes. This is the German one I quoted from there.
  12. If the German codes are different like this topic says, it's safe to presume we don't have Spanish (or Italian and French) codes to enter the menu yet. https://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2022
  13. I never thought about whether new evolutions of event Pokemon fit this topic's goal.
  14. Oh okay. I'm not very interested in Gale of Darkness.
  15. Apparently, there's been PAL codes to enter the bonus disc menu for three years now. Perhaps it doesn't work right. https://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2023
  16. Tell us more! It sounds like you discovered a way to access Ageto Celebi left unused on the PAL disc? I don't think I've seen that version confirmed yet. Check out the USA ones to compare. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewhL_3QB6XA
  17. I shouldn't get too hopeful. Not a hacker. "Restoration project" if you will, would entail stuff like a button code for that menu and reverting back the eReader door warp.
  18. Ageto Celebi was translated after all. I didn't create the AR code, just wrote down some info on its effects. http://tcrf.net/Pok%C3%A9mon_Colosseum#Japanese_Bonus_Disc
  19. Card Reader e+ was available in a pack with Doubutsu no Mori e+. Searching for that game will pick up further sources to find one. Maybe we could make an Action Replay code to trick the door warp into behaving like Japanese Colosseum? It's certainly possible the PAL version translated the room's text into each relevant language. Super Mario Advance 4 did that despite hiding world-e after all.
