Hey guys, I've been editing a save file via Pokesav but it doesn't load when I actually run the game.
I've followed the instructions as to how you edit your saved file (using the No$GBA to VBA converter and then opening the converted file in Pokesav), but after I finish editing/saving it using Pokesav, it doesn't work.
What I mean is that when running the game, the game itself ignores the edited saved file and runs as though there isn't a file; starting a new game. The game works perfectly fine with the unedited file however.
So I'm guessing either the edited file is corrupt or I'm not using Pokesav properly. Any suggestions?
- Also does the file size matter? I've read somewhere that you need either a 512kb or a 256kb save file, but mine is 521kb for some reason.
Edit No$GBA.ini in the No$GBA folder and change
SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed
to read as
SAV/SNA File Format == Raw
then open the emulator, load the game, and resave. after saving close the emulator, the file is now compatible with pokesav.

Thanks, just one more question. for 2 and 3 is it random, like if I caught like 10 wurmples back to back and and pal parked them all will they all be the same or completely random of the 3.

Ok, I need some help here. Can anyone list the PID type for each of these? I would have downloaded the .pkm files from the upload bin and see my self, but its gone.
1. A Pokemon bread/hatched on Emerald.
2. A wild Pokemon caught in Emerald. (like a Wurmple on route 101)
3. A wild Pokemon caught in Leaf Green. (like a Ratata on route 1)

I never had a problem with uploading a video, and all my pokemon are sav'd. I am really picky with the smallest of detail on making them look legit.

For a pokemon to be "yours" your SID/ID OT name and gender must match its SID/ID OT name and OT gender, other wise it counts it as you go it in a trade.

since when an egg is made it already has its PID but no ivs, and every time it hatches it has total random Ivs, that mean it dosent need at least one.

The chances of the iv to pid to come up with a shiny adamant is the same as in the game.
On a side not, since you trying to breed it, you can just set the stuff you want, hatched pokemon dont use the iv to pid.

Hi, i created some codes to play different battle themes in stead of the normal trainer music, but the game freezes when i try to use them on wifi. does anyone know how to fix it? here are the codes.

Just a little update, I finished all the codes for the battle themes in the game.
My codes are to be used in battles, from what I seen in the thread the other one is to play them while on a bike. I don't know if the same song plays when you start a battle.

I am finally done, this patch contains every battle theme in the game.
This patch changes the battle theme played in trainer battles.

You can repatch the same ROM over and over to change theme.
The Patch works on wifi.
It also contains AR codes and various flash cart cheat files with the codes already added. These codes work like the patch, but the AR codes DO NOT work on wifi.
You may need WinRAR to uncompress the the .rar file that this patch is compressed in.

The sprites that the game uses are not editable by PokeDSPic.
You can use any standard tile editor. Eventually though, I will try to make something that will work like PokeDSPic for those.

I have finally made a code for every battle theme in the game. just enable one of the codes and get in a trainer battle.
These codes do not work on wifi, the game freezes when someone connects with you, to use these songs on wifi you need to use a patched ROM on a falsh cart.

I been working on a hack involving platinunm.

When making a platinum version, the sprites are not changing. i think there is a flaw in the program. I noticed animated trainer sprites in the game seem to have 3 different sprites.
1: First frame of animation, in this frame as they appear and come across the screen.
2: Second frame of animation, when they reach there standing spot the animation begins and switches to this frame then back to the first one.
3: Third frame of animation, the sprite changes to the frame as the trainer slides off the screen to release their first pokemon, this frame is the same as the single frame from diamond and pearl.
Now, the program only shows 2 frames in the narc file for the trainers. if they are not animated then its the same as their normal sprites, but if they are animated trainers, then it shows their animated sprites.
So, I think the stand alone sprites are in another location. because when i tryed to edit the trainers sprites like I did it just shows the old sprite with the new color palette.
I dont know, maybe i did somthing wrong, but it worked for diamond/pearl.

......Ok 1st video was kinda awkward, but the 2nd video was pretty LOL standards, but i thought when you used Flamethrower it would say Cheese Burger got burned, or Drink spilled, something like that.
