<p><p><p><p><p><p>It is becoming increasingly rare to get stories where the characters are inspired, and that's because everything is so black and white. But life's not like that. Why is this guy evil? Why can't he get over it? What's the message? And why do teens always save the day?</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Speaking of teens, the only reason I see that they are the heroes is because they're young. You know what that means! (Fan service for the boys). But maybe that's me being overly critical again. Yeah, I wish teens in this day and age actually gave a crap about the world they live in, but they're all apathetic and stuff. It's painful. At least I'm not one of them. I may not be popular at school, but at least I care about the big picture instead how my hair looks today...</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Also, I find it's becoming rare for messages or morals to be put into everything. You know Twilight? Well, this show called Kids/Teens react shows the viewers something, in this case Twilight, and obviously a lot of girls liked it. (Continued)</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Remember that one game I showed you with the crazy killer clown? Don't want to remember it? Okay, well, to my amazement, the directors actually wrote the characters to be based off of human flaws that, despite their insanity, you could relate to. (Sweet Tooth is the mascot, so he's just a killer.) A good example of a character you could relate to is Outlaw, Mr. Grimm, Preacher, and Roadkill, because they're not evil. And each character has a satisfactory reason why they went nuts, and you can almost feel for some of them. Believe it or not, that dark as hell game has morals in it, and I was surprised when one of the characters went insane because his life was destroyed. And I can actually remember it. That's good. However, in the game I'm currently playing through, Wild Arms 5, the characters are incapable of being related to. They're all based off stereotypes and are really bland. They look cool though and can be fun, but otherwise... It hurts your imagination. (continued)</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>I remember playing this demo for Soulcaliber... Not a bad game, but DANG, all of the girls, as one of my friends said, are whores, and they are designed so. I'm like, ISN'T THERE ONE GIRL WHO IS NOT DESIGNED LIKE THIS? "Half of one..." Me: "..." I mean, you can make "attractive" female characters, but ATTRACTIVE DOES NOT MEAN UNDER DRESSED. There was actually this game called Never Dead and I watched the review (I subscribed to IGN to see reviews and stuff, never played it) and the reviewer pointed out something most reviewers wouldn't. he actually questioned why one of the girls was "under dressed" and he actually asked, "does this game think we all have a fascination for this character?" <p><p><p><p><p><p>It's just that teenagers are always the focus in animes. Why? I have an idea why, and that's because they are young. But it just so happens that teenagers are smarter, more skilled, and are capable of so obviously beating the villains where it's just ridiculous.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>That and villains in games, movies, anime, whatever, are always so forgettable... They are just evil for the sake of being evil... And it's like, why?</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Well, uh, when I said messages, I wasn't referring to the "horny sexy girl stereotype" I was speaking about characters who are overly excited, romantic, too serious, too whatever, unless it's supposed to have a metaphor or hidden meaning in it. Otherwise, I wasn't referring to the slutty anime girls we see littered in games nowadays. But OF COURSE, WE NEVER SEEN THAT IN ANIME. The only show that had <em>some</em> character development, or personality rather was Full Metal Alchemist. Say what you will about the alchemy and science and all, but it wasn't written by a horny male, so you don't get a lot of... That. I think that and another anime were the only two that actually had some development and character... Well, yeah. I also find it strange that in some animes, and there is this one where teenagers form an anti-government group against military superiors and just so happen to outwit and out CLASS MILITARY OFFICERS. <p><p><p><p><p><p>I know the Tales Of series. I can't really remember much about the stories though... But I never remember the games being designed for kids. While some of the designs are, I don't know, perhaps more perverted, I can safely say IMO that Final Fantasy is worse for that then some of the Tales Of games I have played/seen and the one I'm playing now. Like, in the gamy I play, the worst they went with the main characters was that one girl wears short-shorts (if they are called that?) whereas in Final Fantasy one of the main characters is almost naked, and I'm like, wut? That's what happens though when you get a guy who just wants to make an appealing game rather than making it entertaining with a memorable story.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Well, the game is a animeaish blargh RPG so more characters join and stuff... But the main character (of the two) is hypenergetic and annoying at times, and the girl who is with him is annoying but less so. However, four other characters join them but are much more likeable than the first two. The plot isn't bad, and the art actually what got me interested in it. The gameplay is actually really original and nice, but again... anbfiaowbaolwbtabgjaksg.... Main character(s)...</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>A good character is one someone can relate to, so I agree. I actually grew up with spiderman games, so I really liked it as a kid. I'm not as into it as I was back then, because now I'm into other stuff, but I still have respect for Spiderman. I myself am not huge on comic book characters, as Spiderman, Venom and Batman. Venom was always cool, and Batman is good because he has no super powers and stuff... But that's just me.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

You got the excited guy and then you have the pretty girl, whereas the latter characters have some story behind them...
