Personally, stronger stories are my interest, but I can see where you're coming from. The story was more interesting because of the themes that funnily enough contradict the franchise itself.

Despite their origins or themes, I think their more interesting than B/W. They better not be dragons... A deer as a dragon? no... no...

WTF did I watch? Like... How does it do that? It countered NOTHING!

Talked to my twin sister about what types we would be. Funnily enough she said Ice. I just did a quiz and I got ice. Of 9 questions, 3 were Ice, 2 Psychic, 2 Dragon, 1 Poison, 1 water.

Someone likes Froakie it seems. I personally liked B/W's story as it was more developed, but yeah the competitive aspects were a bit disastrous. Hopefully they tone it down.

Some assume they're based on life/death, evolution, or the tree of Yggdrasil. Also, a lot of people are saying that Xerneas (stag) is a lot like the God of Life from the film Princess Mononoke. It's antlers are shaped like chromosomes as well. Yveltal is likely based on death or something, but because it glows red and has those veiny like markings, I actually thought it may have to do with birth. But I don't know how that makes sense. Personally I find these two legendaries interesting, particularly Xerneas, because they are not dragons.Yggdrasil has the same creatures as these two, deer and bird, but also a wyrm is included. Setting is Paris, too.

Yes, I like it. It does resemble Dewott, but it'll certainly evolve into something much different. While the starters are odd in their own way, they seem to be more popular than previous Gen. More than, I dunno, 60% of people at least like one of them.

People are throwing around ideas for the starters already. Chespin may be a grass/dark type, Fennekin a fire/psychic, and Froakie a Water/Fighting. The last one seems to make sense because of how Froakie acts in the trailer, and if it is not a slow pokemon then that would be really nice. But others suggest it'll be Water/ice. Fennekin as Fire/Psychic makes too much sense - it MUSTN'T be fire fighting.

Judging a game based on 3D graphics is pretty shallow. I'm not saying that you HAVE to buy it, but I am saying your reasons have no substance. unless you want to elaborate. my fears lie in not adding very much other than graphics, no new mechanics, etc.

I have hope for this game as far as story goes, which B/W impressed me with. Sure, the themes contradict the entire game's existence and that may very well be the point, but it had an intriguing villain with purpose, the player had more of a reason to hate him other than being evil, etc.

If the new mascots are based on Life/Death, Evolution, etc, then I believe Pokemon is going in a more appropriate direction. Furthermore, going 3D will make it more immersive aesthetically and more believable. Having 3D graphics can also enhance what the players can do in the world because there are less aesthetic restrictions. This may mean more challenging and intricate puzzles and worlds for me, as that is something I personally would like.

So it's dead because it's in 3D as opposed to 2D? I don't see the problem.

I understand the fact that in order to play it you will need to buy a 3DS.

The funny thing is that Pokemon has had 3D games for a while, going from Pokemon Stadium to Pokemon Stadium 2 to Pokemon Colosseum to Pokemon <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh.png" alt="xD" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> to Pokemon Battle Revolution to this. The people still look cutesy and such, still retain the style, etc.

Also, the mascot pokemon are probably far more creative than Reshiram and Zekrom. Their designs do not feel as blenderish as Zekrom and Reshiram, in particular. Reshiram and Zekrom represent Yin and Yang, yet, while Reshiram is the Pheonix and Zekrom the Dragon, Reshiram doesn't bear much resemblance to it. The Elk in particular likely represents life as a mythological figure, of course, which in my opinion is rather neat, and I like it's subtlety and not it's "badassery". The X/Y creatures are more subtle as well.

Hobbies? I'm a thinker/critic. I'm an extreme introvert and I don't talk to everyone I see. Ironically, I love discussion. In my spare time I think about ideas and philosophy (riveting I'm sure), and how I can apply it to literature. I'm an aspiring writer so that is important to me. I also like meaningful controversy.

I'm a music-a-holic. Metal is my preferred genre (I dislike most vocals) but I also like ambient, Orchestral and softer stuff. I don't make instrumentals but I hope to. I also play Video games of course, but I'm gearing away from them. I also watch shows that I know I like (only a few), and I browse around DeviantArt.

I am just down again, is all.

This may sound idealist, but I find that people may not appear to be as smart as we think they are on the outside. Their thoughts may just be buried deep within their brains. Kids are more willing to ask questions than adults, I'm sure, because most adults are too picky about the concepts rather than execution or what meaning is behind it. I am treated like an idiot or buffoon, and still am, even amongst most people, but when I was young I questioned my entire existence, as well as that of everything else. I asked myself what things meant, why we think these things... Like the definition of "cool". Perhaps I am hoping for too much, but then again, I don't want to underestimate people as much as I did back then.

Because of character limit, I am jumping all over the place, my bad.

Getting pwned on Pokemon Online is fun.

I don't know maybe it... didn't end? Personally I thought you meant that you're angry that woman is now president of South Korea, and something else relating to National Security.

The reader is actually supposed to gain something from it. It's not meant to answer everything, but rather ask questions, which I think stories should do. The reader, who probably hates crows because they're "savages" would grow to respect them because they're intelligent and, if they weren't around (like other carrion eaters like vultures and crocodiles) the disease spread rate would be doubled or even tripled. By the end, the reader probably has to think about the consequences of rebellion, since rebellion is usually portrayed in a positive light. Themes are roles (society), rebellion, morality, etc.

But the nice thing is I didn't get it done. Also I don't like to write things purely for "creepiness" or "entertainment"... Clearly you should know that by now. T_T

To be honest, I don't think they would. But I would aim it for older "kids", if that makes sense. Kids can think about things a lot, they just need to be exposed to something that would make them do so.

If we keep assuming that we need to give them stories where a super soldier and his artificial intelligence robot girl have a tragic love story then their brains would melt. Oh wait, that was for adults? Well it shouldn't have been. (HALO 4 STORY SUCKS)

Yeah you have no idea what I'm talking about but the story is so stupid abntaojbgkjabgkjabgjabgkjbagkjbakjgbjkrgh...

It's like an allegorical tale. There's no answers, and it is a mixture of creepy and stuff, so I think it would be enjoyable only for those who have similar tastes to me. To be honest I don't even know what I like in stories anymore, aside from depth and no "right or wrong".

I know you are absent, and I hope you are doing well, but I am doing something that may be of slight interest to you...

I am doing an argumentative essay on "Video games". It'll be fun.

I am also making a "children's story" based on Crows which do their assigned role: eating carrion. The crows, being the bottom, get pushed around by other animals, and since they have had enough, they stop eating the carrion. Diseases spread, and then other animals get sick (I'm not sure if they die, but likely), and then when the Crows have gotten their vengeance or payback, they continue eating carrion again. It's about Karma and stuff, suitable for ages over 10. Why crows? They're considered lowly creatures, but are incredibly intelligent as they can use tools, such as keys. I also thought of the crows eating the dead bodies of the dead animals that once surpressed them, but I thought that was too dark...

It would have an eerier tone for sure. I'm trying not to insult children's intelligence.

I see that you are obsessed with a virtual character. He's funny, but of course I am not that interested in his character.

I just want more Wii games... that are good. LIKE PIKMIN 3. ;D

I'm getting tired of playing shooters. Currently I'm playing Okami. Ever heard of it? It's like Zelda but very creative. You play as a Sun Goddess that is a wolf.

Interesting. I suppose I can agree, even if it doesn't seem like that is what's going on. Nonetheless, we need farmers, no escaping that.

Personally I'd rather know about what goes on in the world, since I would like to be some kind of writer, but I admit it can get you down. At the same time, it can bring you up, depending on what it is.

Trying to make everyone a leader, though, is certainly not something I agree with. To teach everyone that they should do their part yes, but leading in particular... I am not sure if it's as literal as you say it is but I assume it is.

To me the ideal society is where everyone finds their niche, and uses that to support themselves and society, but unlike today where it is all about money (because that's what keeps it going) it is simply for the greater good and to maintain stability. It sounds similar as today but eh... It's not as selfish, it's more community based.

Public schools are definitely not learning environments. High schools could be, but teenagers like to socialize at that point and only the luckier/privileged of teens will become successful.

They do bad stuff sometimes, but they do have some pretty meaningful work as well. Unfortunately, those are usually underrated. one song, called Alter Mann, is rather cryptic, but has something to do with growing up and losing ideology, or cleaning society or something. Others are Roter sand (a tragic song), Sonne, Halt, and some others are pretty meaningful... But some of the stuff they do is bad.

My actual favourite artist isn't a band. It's one guy, and he does instrumentals.

I saw no picture... I think I should have, because I probably would've understood it.

Sometimes the bullying does not have to relate to hetero/homosexuality. Sometimes it's different than that, you know?

"Social Activity" isn't bad, but in a school environment it's about focusing on work and the task at hand. Despite that, no one really treats school like a place to learn, most people treat it as a social environment. It kind of is, but it should only be based on what needs to be done. Kids don't really get that. Neither do I.

Westernization! YAY!!!!!!!! It's rare to come around stuff that can be considered "from it's own culture". I think that's one of the reasons why Gangnam Style is so popular, aside from the music video itself. My favourite band Rammstein (German) is a little more "Western", to the dismay of many fans. It's still stronger than a lot of Western metal funnily enough. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh.png" alt="xD" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />
