I had updated the tool to v1.0.9.4. The only changes are the size of the tool as well as the size of the Victory Road map window. Regarding the Unown alternate shape, will need further testing before I can integrate it into the tool (don't have the Rom to do the testing, plus busy with works). If the size of the tool is still too big, please reply here and state your maximum resolution.

Now that I look at it, the tool really is too large. I never took into consideration of user with smaller display, which I should have done. Sorry for that. I might make a smaller/compact version of the tool in the future, but i is not a promise as nowadays I was too busy with my own life to touch on tool development.

By heavily-modified ROM is it only modified using this tool? Or did you modified it using other tools as well? It is quite hard to predict the problem that you might see since we don't know the reason/cause of the problem. However, if your DS refuse to recognize the ROM, then there might be a serious change on your ROM (I think should be somewhere in the NARC header, ROM header, etc). Without take a look at your ROM it'll be hard to tell you if there's a way to fix your ROM. Well, maybe other (Andibad, perhaps) can help with this.

tool Pokemon ROM Changer

From what I think, to load the (U) and (E) roms shouldn't be very difficult. The issue should be to map the offsets (if they're different). -
For the first bug, I can never reproduce the same problem to happen, which also means that since I have no idea how it occurs, I won't be able to fix it. However, I tried to edit a clean ROM from scratch and didn't encounter any bugs. As for whether there are any other bugs, I can answer you: There are bound to be some bugs, just that no one had discovered them yet. No program in this world are totally bug-free, and that's why when you found a bug please report here so that I can fix it as soon as possible.

By right the program will give you the number of choices based on how many formes the Pokemon has. And since I want to make it simpler job for me, I put the formes simply as number instead of the name of the forme. You can still refer to sites such as bulbapedia o serebii. As for why Giratina give you 0,1,1,1, I think it's a bug and I'll look into it. However, since I'm quite busy with my life recently, I can't promise to release an update on any given time.

I see. Since it make your life more difficult, then maybe I'll take it down soon if more harm was brought. Sorry for trouble. @axelschiffer: After you edited a trainer, just load the next/another trainer and the previous (edited) one will be automatically saved temporary on the program. The program will not make the permanent changes on your rom until you hit the save button. The main purpose of this tool is to help those who don't know how to extract the content of ROM/narc to edit the trainers. Those who had the knowledge/willing to do so/too much time/does not mind the extra work/play safe you can use Kazo's tool, as it's more lightweight and you might be more familiar with it. Also, if you found any bugs please notify here.
