That's what I kinda suspected, thanks for confirming. If you used a code to trigger a wild pokemon encounter I would imagine that pokemon would come across legal, is that correct? Cause the way I see it happening is the code is telling the game to make a pokemon but the game itself is making the pokemon. Just curious about this type of thing. I'm not trying to make a fake pokemon to fight online with or something, I only play single player.

Isn't the PID related to the nature? I wonder if changing the nature of a pokemon with this code would cause it to appear "illegal" anyone got an idea on that?

My biggest requests are a pokemon cloning code and an IV/EV checker.

I'm trying to understand what you're saying, and I'm not saying anyone is wrong. You guys obviously know more than me. I just don't get why the egg box is ticked on that PKM file if he didn't originally come in an egg, and the other Regi PKM doesn't have him in an egg.

Well what I meant by legit was a direct copy of the legit original, untouched or messed with. Sorry for using the wrong term.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but are the Event Pokemon downloads on this site confirmed legit? I ask because one of the English Regigigas PKM files is a level 100 egg and as far as I can tell he didn't come as an egg. Please correct me if I'm wrong and fill me in on what's up, thank you.

Could someone tell me what I need to do to get these locations into my retail cartridge? I'm currently using Pokesav and outputting AR codes to modify the cart. I understand that these are hex values but is there something in the AR code that I have to replace with these location values? I just spent like 5+ hours breeding a Ralts with Mean Look and finally get the IVs I want and realized that I screwed up and lost Mean Look along the way. I'd like to generate one in Pokesav that says it's born in the daycare near Goldenrod City. Thanks a lot! Okay I found those boxes for the hex values at the top-right of Pokesav, do those override the location shown to the left of those like "Met in place" cause when I type in the hex values the locations to the left don't change.

I just bought my first AR and tried to enter my first code, the SID code. When I press select+start it turns my 5 digit money level into a 6 digit number. Am I doing something wrong, do I have to set a master code for the game or something? I just used the PC software and went under the correct game, add new code and pasted the code into the box and updated the AR. My original money level is only 5 digits. Thanks. Update: I read something that suggested if your money was a higher number than your SID it could report the wrong thing, I threw away most of my money and that resulted in a 5 digit number. I guess that's resolved now.
