Figures. Just had to bring it up, cause ultimately the question was asking about Gen 3. Need to specify overworld abilities in Gen 3 only became a thing in Emerald.

(To preface this, Emerald onwards. RS FRLG doesn't have the ability perk, hence I didn't mention it.) Also this myth was likely caused by a misunderstanding from NPC dialogue in Lavaridge: I would say the misunderstanding arose from the first half of that paragraph. Or maybe the idea was romanticized. In any case, we gotta remember the NPC clearly says it is not enough, and gives the player the egg.

rename it to just main, no extensions. also make a copy and back it up somewhere. -
They don't gain HA via the GO -> HOME transfer, but they can obtain HA via Ability Patch in SWSH (if their HA differs from their regular ability)

Then it's not the same event. At least for Gen 6 event we don't list em together if TID and OT is different... Yeah, I can tell you're trying to gather up all events. I don't think anyone contributed these. It looks like there were two waves for the same event: the error version and the fixed version. It looks like they were distributed as wonder cards, and evolved. The previous one (this page) was traded to you, totally different. -
wonder cards stored the used/unused flag. Most wonder cards we usually reset it to unused, but there's no issues even if it's used; PKHeX will just prompt for the user to change it to unusued -

Without a real copy to compare to, it's highly likely to be illegitimate. Who in the right mind would trade one away. Plus it's probably easy to create one without verifiable data to compare to... -

What you just said doesn't make grammatical sense. Also don't see how Animal crossing comes into this. In any case, you can create a profile and start a new game. Once you bought the game, you can create multiple profiles to have access to multiple saves. (Since you apparently have Atmosphere, you can then use Checkpoint/JKSM to dump the save) -

In case you don't get a reply, my simple response would be "simply play the game on your Switch, and acquire a fresh save from there" -

Sounds like the problem is resolved. Just a simple case of user error, and the user not being descriptive with the problem. -
