This is how you would make your shiny eevee appear to be Pal Parked and then transfered. 1. From the Pokegen Options menu, set target game to any Gen IV 2. Species Eevee 3. Nickname EEVEE in all caps because thats what the names look like in Gen III and IV when not nicknamed 4. Lv: 5 5. Set nature, Adamant 6. Base Happiness should be 70, look it up on serebii 7. Ability Run Away 8. Origin Fire Red 9. Gender Female 10. Location Pal Park 11. Ball Poke Ball 12. Met level 5 13. Date 14. Encounter "Egg/Pal Park/Event/" 15. Set all IV's to 31, when generating a PID these IV's will change 16. Randomize EVs 17. Choose attacks, egg moves are ok 18. Set OT Gender ID SID and name 19. Go back to the Main Tab and click PID finder 20. Check Shiny, choose ability 1, gender female, nature adamant and click Search. 21. Once the search is complete Click OK 22. Now save that pokemon to .pkm 23. Drag and drop the .pkm on to Trashbytes.exe and then legal.exe to make sure it is a 100% legal pokemon. 24. Then drag and drop the .pkm on to Poké Transfer.exe 25. Presto! You now have a hatched Gen III shiny EEVEE~ eevee_Transfered.pkm

What I meant was, how does the game tell its hatched. It shows as hatched with the encounter "Egg/Pal Park" and you are correct, a pokemon hatched in Gen III does not have egg data in Gen IV/V after being Pal Parked. I'm attaching the .pkm of two pokemon, one hatched one caught and what it looks like after it was Pal Parked and then Transfered. I compared the legit poketransfer to kazo's transfer and they are identical. poly_PalPark..pkm poly_Transfered..pkm esp_PalPark..pkm esp_Transfered..pkm

Beta: the pokécheck legality checker for generation 5
cH053n replied to xfr's topic in Pokémon Legality
Hmm and my hacked Politoed appears to be valid... lol http://pokecheck.kraftpaper.org/?p=detail&uid=72776 -
If that was the case then how can it tell if it can have egg moves or not? >_>

I don't run any scripts, I'm simply using the search tools available by the site. I don't run that site, I am merely a user. Are you saying people should be able to find Pokemon by searching for a friend code? That may not be nessesary as you can already search by OT name, user name, Traier ID/SID, and PID... The search I am using does it by username. If you would like to share your pokemon please follow the steps mentioned above in the second post. And ya, I do enjoy this method also. Don't have to get Pokemon at random when all you want is a certain one... This also allows for a larger list of Pokemon to be viewed and downloaded at once. Plus I don't have to host the Pokemon on my home internet connection where its possible people could get various connection errors.

Status: Open [Claimed Fixed] Severity: B [should Fix] Reproducibility: 100% [10/10 attempts] Type: UI Code Area: PID Finder Version: 3.0b24 Steps: 1. Open the PID Finder and set Species to Haxorus, Gender Either, Nature Any, Ability Either, Shiny off checked and change all IV's to 31. 2. Click search and view how many Ability 1 PID's are returned. 3. Now set Ability to 1. 4. Click search and view how many Ability 1 PID's are returned. Results: At step 4 the list will populate with Ability 1 and 2 PID's but only two Ability 1 PID's appear when there should be four as seen in the search from step 2. Expected Behavior: The same amount of Ability 1 PID's should appear when searching specifically for Ability 1 or Either. Notes: - This could be a bug of a bug for this issue - http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?15358-Pending-Review-PID-for-Ability-2-will-appear-when-specifically-searching-for-Ability-1-in-the-PID-Finder. - Although this seems like a much bigger issue and should be fixed. - This also occurs when searching for Ability 2 PID specifically. - This issue only happens when Target Game is set to "Black/White". - This does not occur in ver. 2.312 - It was retested with Arceus

Partially type in the attack Thunder as "thun". 3. Now click the down arrow to view the list of attacks. 4. Then either press the Tab key or click the drop down arrow again to automatically fill in the attack name 5. View the amount of PP for that attack. Results: When the attack name is automatically filled in by pressing tab or the drop down arrow the PP is set to 0. Expected Behavior: The proper amount of PP should be assigned when the attack name is automatically filled in.

Status: Open [Claimed Fixed] Severity: C [Fix if possible] Reproducibility: 100% [10/10 attempts] Type: UI Code Area: PID Finder Version: 3.0b24 Steps: 1. Open the PID Finder and set Species to Darkrai, Set Ability to 1, off check Shiny, set Nature to Any and then set all IV's to 31. 2. Click search and view the Ability column. Results: While the Ability is specificly set to only search for Ability 1 PID the finder will return PID's for Ability 2. Expected Behavior: Only Ability 1 PID's should be returned in the Finder when specifically set to search for Ability 1. Notes: I talked to you about this before in chat but I just wanted to make sure it was logged and actually fixed in the next version. When comparing PID's found by the PID/IV Generator in Pokesav the exact same PID's appear as Ability 2 in both generators.

Status: Open [Claimed Fixed] Severity: B [should Fix] Reproducibility: 100% [10/10 attempts] Type: UI Code Area: Nickname field Version: 3.0b24 Steps: 1. Create a legal Gen 4 Pokemon with a single letter nickname that has been Pal Parked or Hatched from an Egg and run it through trashbytes.exe and legal.exe 2. Load the Gen 4 Pokemon in Pokegen ver. 2.312 and view the trash bytes in the nickname field. 3. Save that Pokemon and then run it through legal.exe to validate it is still legal. 4. Open ver. 3.0b24 and set target game to HG/SS, load that Pokemon and view the trash bytes in the nickname field. 5. Save that Pokemon and then run it through legal.exe to view if it is still legal. Results: When viewing the Pokemon in Pokegen ver. 3.0b24 the trash byte 0042 will appear as め and trash byte 0005 appears as い. Once saved at this point the Pokemon's trash bytes appear as invalid in legal.exe. Expected Behavior: The trash bytes should appear and save correctly when viewed in ver. 3.0b24 Notes: There could be other trash bytes that appear incorrectly but this is what has been found so far. A\FFFF\2054\020D\0042\0000\0000\0000\A184\020C\FFE 0 A\FFFF\2054\020Dめ\0000\0000\0000\A184\020C\FFE0 M\FFFF\0005\0000\91D7\0227\D175\0226\9AE9\0206\000 0 M\FFFFい\0000\91D7\0227\D175\0226\9AE9\0206\0000

if you save the file while it is shown like this then it makes the trash bytes invalid

How should the .pkm appear after Pal Parked? What I made does pass legal.exe ...so... Am I correct in settings both met location to Pal Park and Hatch Location to Pal Park? I could fire up some emulators and check... although this will be very tedious. EDIT: This Eevee doesn't look right in the summary screen of HG/SS, says met location Pal Park and Hatch location Pal Park... if someone could share a legit hatched pal park pokemon that would be awesome... for now I am dead tired and need to sleep.
-
I'm sure he meant it was hatched first before pal park and then shifting it. I'm actually trying to figure this out myself I reversed his Eevee to be Pal Parked, and hatched Pal Parked, fixed the trash bytes with trashbytes.exe so that it would appear valid in legal.exe http://pokecheck.kraftpaper.org/?p=detail&uid=76600 I then shifted it to Gen V using Kazo War's poke transfer but it changes the Met Location to Rumination Field http://pokecheck.kraftpaper.org/?p=detail&uid=76594 So what gives? I looked at this pokemon in-game and it appears correct. Although like any other pokemon that is Pokeshifted it does not show any egg data. It says on the Summary screen nature. date Kanto Apparently arrived at Lv. 1 after a long travel through time. Strong willed. So I'm thinking.... Pal Parked = Rumination Field

I'd like to encourage other people to share their Pokemon also. To do so, on Pokecheck make a search in the Trainer name/ID box with @username This way only Pokemon from your username will show up in the search. Also remember to make the Pokemon public so people can view the legality and download the .pkm file. I will update the second post with links that are shared. Please excuse my triple post... :\

Beta: the pokécheck legality checker for generation 5
cH053n replied to xfr's topic in Pokémon Legality
The new clone status feature is neat, one thing I noticed though On some of my pokemon that are public it says "including time(s) as a public pokémon." its missing the number of times it appears as public. and its kind of annoying to see all my pokemon are cloned... lol whatever, its gonna happen either way. Thanks for cleaning up those bad hacks earlier. -
That has nothing to do with changing router settings. You edit the internet connection settings on YOUR DS...

When you upload a pokemon directly by connecting to the fakeGTS it will collect your Metadata. It tracks your OT name, ID, avatar, and real world location. Basically what shows in the Unity Tower... I think. -
Those trash bytes interest me... how did you come to using those trash bytes? is there a guide some where for trash bytes of Gen 3 pokemon? I'm reading this guide now... http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:_T-pslFSQTUJ:projectpokemon.org/wiki/Trash_Bytes+pal+park+trash+bytes&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com

The Axew egg is untouched after I got it from the Mystery Gift NPC. Any egg you load up in to Pokegen will show it nicknamed as Egg with the trash byte sequence since the nickname Egg is shorter than the pokemon's actual name A Pidove egg would look like this Egg\FFFFve\FFFF\0000\0000\0000\FFFF A Pansage egg would look like this Egg\FFFFage\FFFF\0000\0000\FFFF all with the nickname flag checked and here is the Haxorus still showing errors http://pokecheck.kraftpaper.org/?p=detail&uid=75650 ► Locations Fateful but not from an event. Egg receive location is invalid. -
Blastoise generated new PID for the hell of it by leaving the PID field blank and then saving it as a .pkm file after I was done editing everything added escape sequence to pokemon name You can not breed for a DW Squirtle as they are Event pokmon that come only as a male Location set to Entree Forest Dream Ball Met at lv 10 removed As Egg check edit IV's to be 31/30/30/31/31/31 for Hidden Power Ice 70 Gave all moves 3x pp ups added escape sequence to OT name set Extra Bytes to 1 so it indicate DW pokemon
