  1. Oh really?... I thought it works on any Shaymin. On every article i've read they all say the flower can be used on any Shaymin. It's just that obtaining it requires the fateful encounter.

    Bulbapedia says that:

    Using Glacidea Flower

It's been confirmed that you must have an event Shaymin to receive the Glacidea Flower from the girl in Floaroma, but after getting it, any Shaymin can transform using it.

    On WikiAnswers too:

Does the gracidea flower work on any shaymin?

Fortunately yes it does, only if you have the gracidea flower, unfortunately shaymin can only be turned into sky form in the day so you shaymin will automatically turn back in to land form at night. Understand, i hope i helped you alot

  2. Shiny Shuckle

    EVs: 252 HP / 208 Def / 48 SpD

    Holding: Leftovers

    Ability: Gluttony

    Nature: Impish

    ~ Encore

    ~ Rest

    ~ Toxic

    ~ Stealth Rock

It's got no attack moves at all. If it gets taunted, and the pokemon has a ability/move that locks you in the game, you'll have to struggle. Also you might want to get it to have bide. Encore + Bide is a good combo being sure that it would take 3 or more turns to be able to take down Shuckle.

    Shiny Kingdra

    EVs: 252 Atk / 240 SpA / 16 Spe

    Holding: Damp Rock

    Ability: Swift Swim

    Nature: Naughty

    ~ Rain Dance

    ~ Waterfall

    ~ Hydro Pump

    ~ Draco Meteor

With the lack of Speed, almost any OU can 2HKO Kingdra. Also, none of your pokemon require rain, only Kingdra so no need for the rain to last so long. Kingdra probably won't even survive 5 turns if it is unable to 1HKO the opponent if the opponent is an OU. Because of the lack of speed if you are able to 2HKO your enemy and your enemy is able to 2HKO you, your opponent would probably have a higher speed and be the one to beat you first. If you are planning to set up rain first, your opponent would take the upper hand to attack and Swift Swim only lasting the second turn, still if you aren't able to 1HKO your enemy, they will take Kingdra down. One of Kingdra's threats are Empoleon, it is able to wall all Kingdra's attacks. Maybe have Life Orb instead of Damp Rock.

    Shiny Porygon-Z

    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

    Holding: Choice Scarf

    Ability: Download

    Nature: Timid

    ~ Tri Attack

    ~ Thunder

    ~ Ice Beam

    ~ Hidden Power Fighting

Not too bad but if you're planning to use Life Orb on Kingdra as I suggested you to, get thunderbolt instead of thunder, Porygon-Z lacks defence. If you're still planning on running down with damp rock, keep the set as thunder will be 100 accuracy in the rain.

    Scizor

    EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe

    Holding: Life Orb

    Ability: Technician

    Nature: Adamant

    ~ Swords Dance

    ~ Bullet Punch

    ~ Brick Break

    ~ X-Scissor

Don't see anything bad but keep in mind Moltres is a big threat, being able to 1HKO you and wall all your moves. Not necessary but U-Turn might be considered instead of X-Scissor but staying with your moveset is still fine.

    Metagross

    EVs: 252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spe

    Holding: Choice Band

    Ability: Clear Body

    Nature: Adamant

    ~ Meteor Mash

    ~ Earthquake

    ~ Explosion

    ~ Bullet Punch

Nothing much to say, pretty good moveset. CB+252 Atk+Explosion combo is very strong.

    Probopass

    EVs: 252 HP / 158 SpD /98 def

    Holding: Leftovers

    Ability: Magnet Pull

    Nature: Calm

    ~ Thunder

    ~ Toxic

    ~ Earth Power

    ~ Flash Cannon

Probopass is very inconsiderate with its offences so maybe not use too much attacks. Having 3 attacks for Probopass isn't such a good idea. Because if you plan on using Probopass as a wall, you should use more status moves such as thunder wave and sandstorm to pull out its defences.

Best choice if you substitute Probopass with something else. Maybe Hippowdon for a wall.

Overall, your team isn't too bad.

  3. What are your pokemon's contest stats then?

Take a picture with your camera/phone and upload it onto the computer.

I used a max tough Garchomp holding the item Yellow Scarf. Yellow Scarf boosts your toughness stat if held during Contests. I forgot where you get it. All I remember is you have to have a pokemon with a full contest stat in your party and you talk to someone and they will give you a coloured scarf depending on which stat.

  4. Gracidea Flower works on any Shaymin even the Oak's Letter one. It's just that you need to have the event Shaymin to obtain the Gracidea Flower.

    Simplified:

Gracidea Flower can be used on any Shaymin.

Gracidea Flower can only be obtained by having the Event Shaymin in your party.

  5. Check the internet I remember finding a guide of which accessories suit which themes on google. Also, dressing up doesn't matter that much. For eg. my Garchomp with full toughness with no accessories will get a score of 6-7 hearts. With the best suited accessories on it it will score an amount of 8-9 hearts. This means the maximum amount of hearts the accessories will help is only 2 hearts. But that's actually a lot compared to the other contestants...

  6. I go for Victreebel because i've never liked Vileplume though Victreebel's alright. My interest in Victreebel became more when platinum came out because it could learn Leaf Blade. Leaf Blade is one of my favourite attacks not only is it strong and useful but looks cool. Perhaps that's why I like Gallade, Sceptile, Grovyle and Leafeon as well.

  7. I've got Gold Trainer Card, to get Black, you need full National Dex (excluding event) which is impossible for me cause I don't have wi-fi or Colosseum so I can't get the Johto Starters. The master rank isn't hard actually this is my combo:

    Tough:

    Garchomp

    Stone Edge

    Crunch

    Dragon Claw

    Earthquake

I gave it full tough by buying poffins and after full toughness I went to that guy who gives you the contest bands (I forgot where he was). During appearance and appeal stages my Garchomp rocked but in dance I was good though in the master rank I sucked. Master rank dance is different, you only take a move when you hear a specific 'Beat' in the music. Though I still got the chance to win.

After winning the master rank I went to Mr. Goods and he gave me the Tough Cup.

After tough I aimed for all trophies so I entered more contest and passed another 2 master ranks:

    Beauty:

    Weavile

    Swords Dance

    Ice Punch

    Night Slash

    Brick Break

    Smart:

    Dusknoir

    (Sorry forgot it's moveset)

And I talked to Mr. Goods and he gave me the Smart and Beauty Cup.

About the Battle Tower bit, not VERY VERY VERY hard but not too easy. I managed to pass the 100 mark. I remember you telling me on the IRC that you had got 91 wins. So two more streaks and there you're on 105. I'm on 105 but then when I attempted for a further streak I lost to the first trainer T_T.

    Tips on accessories:

Get them from the girl in veilstone city who massages your pokemon

Get them from man in Amity Square

Get them from talking to your pokemon in amity square

Different accessories take effect on different themes

  8. Try to see if a 252 Def/252 HP Bold Nature Scizor would survive a 0 Atk Modest Nature Choice Band Ho-oh's Sacred Fire... if it only does like Half Damage (which it probably wouldn't) that would solve the case.

  9. I'm pretty sure it's impossible for Scizor to survive a Sacred Fire. Even my Infernape's Flame wheel could 1HKO my friend's Scizor. And my Infernape is Mixed Attacker so it's Attack only has 188 EV's and a Lonely Nature.

And Ho-oh, dun think it will be OU, most OU's can't beat it unless it's like an Adamant 252 Atk 252 Spe Aerodactyl with a Stone Edge.
