  1. It worked. :B Well, I figured I get an answer either way whether I asked here or on the actual Pokesav site. And I *did* get an answer, right? Thanks again. ^^
  2. To get straight to the point, the form selection for creating a Deoxys using Pokesav is incorrect. Take this Deoxys for example. It is Level 1 and of a bashful nature meaning there are no changes in its stats. It has absolutely no EVs nor IVs, either. Now here are the results I get from maxing out the stats in the "Stats Edit" for each Deoxys form. Keep in mind that this Pokemon is completely fresh without any stat enhancements whatsoever other than the different (incorrect) form bonuses. I would like you to notice that every single form yields the same stats. All the stats are the equivilant of what the "normal form" should yield. For instance, the "defense form" *should* yield stats with both defense and special defense of 8 or more at level one as opposed to its attack and special attack being around 6. I would like to know if there may be a value I am entering incorrectly or forgetting to add. Either that or I would like to know how to have this problem fixed if it is in fact a program error. I'm going for a defensive Deoxys, so I do not accept these "normal form" stats. EDIT: It may be important for me to mention that I am using the Pokemon Platinum Pokesav.
  3. Registeel has to be my favorite Pokemon right now; thus, that was my vote. ;B It's defensive stats are amazing. Defense stat boosters + rest + seismic toss = win.
  4. Orange juice. I used to watch the first generation episodes for the first 151 Pokemon, but I didn't even get through all of those. I feel that I wouldn't mind watching everything starting from the first generation all the way up to the current episodes, but I don't particularly have the time. .___. Oh, and I recently discovered Pokesav, an amazing ROM "hacker". I am using it for Platinum, but I am using it in a "fair" way. I only use it to get certain Pokemon and to max out their EVs. I'm not giving them uber ridiculous stats or anything. I also started them at L1 and am leveling them myself. Though, I suppose having one of the game's legendary Pokemon already would be kind of cheating, though I would have it anyways at some point in time. Discovering Pokesav is basically how I came upon this forum. I had questions on how to configure it with my ROM and SAV file, so I figured it out in these forums. I didn't intend on actually using this forum much, but I suppose I have nothing better to do other then play Platinum on my emulator+ROM.
  5. I am an ex-addict to Rappelz. Finally got away from it. But, I have relapsed back to Pokemon. I am currently playing Pokemon Platinum via emulator and ROM. I was always obsessed with the Pokemon games, not so much the cards and anime. I've been playing since Yellow and normally play the "in between" games in generations such as Yellow and Crystal because it feels like I am getting a bit of both. ;3 Lastly, I would like to say hello to you all. How are you, everyone?
  6. *Ever* would be either my Snorlax or my Alakazam from my *first* Yellow version file. I beat and restarted that game a few times for fun.
  7. Well, not close enough for me to feel "alone" without them. Though. I have to admit, in the earlier days, I did feel *some* compassion for them, mainly in the first and second generations.
  8. I've been a Pokemaniac since the original Yellow version, and even I don't recall this conspiracy. XP
  9. To be very specific, Lorelei's Jynx in Crystal. It has to be the *most* annoying Pokemon to battle against and the fugliest to boot!! I just use Snorlax and Body Slam that walking piece of plastic.
  10. Drifloon, Cubone, and Trapinch are a few that I think are absolutely adorable.
  11. I think I saw my first shiny in Pokemon Crystal, though I do not recall what Pokemon and did not know about shinies at that point in time.
  12. I know this doesn't have to do with the Pokesave, but you may happen to know a fix to another problem I am having. In the GBA for Pokemon Emerald, there are three options for the sound: Off, Mute, On. If I turn the sound on, everything runs smoothly. If I turn it off, it is a bit laggy sometimes. If I mute it, it works as efficiently as if the sound were on. I don't have that mute function for this No$ emulator. When I turn the sound off, the No$ tends to crash, mainly at the end of Pokemon battles, oddly enough. Personally, I'd rather listen to music other than that of the game soundtrack. I use my computer to listen to music, so it is not like I can just mute my computer. Any suggestions?
  13. Success!! I just saved it in Pokesav like you said and it worked. Thank you very much. ^^ I suppose I will ask this. Are there any possible negative side effects to using Pokesav vs. the cheats, themselves? I mean, is the Pokesav as risky as using the actual Action Replay codes?
  14. Err, I tried executing the new code, but the emulator crashed again. D:
  15. Thanks, I just noticed that it now lets me open the SAV file in the BATTERY folder. All my information is there, too. I understand what you mean, now. Thanks a lot.
  16. Also, might I add that when I try to open a SAV file, no files show up in the "Open" window. In the "BATTERY" file, there is one SAV, but when I open that, it says it is not compatible. The valid extensions are (*.sav, *.dat, *.0, *.nsd). The main save file is *.nds, not *.nsd. Thus, I cannot open it. ***EDIT: Oh, and when I changed the available extensions to "other files", I was able to successfully open the file, though, there is no information about my current game file like ID or my starter Pokemon in the first slot of the party. But maybe there isn't supposed to be?
  17. I changed that value to "Raw", then I went in the game and saved like you said. I tried executing the code again, but it still failed: "Nocash GBA Emulator has stopped working..."
  18. First of all, "currently, Pokesav only works for Diamond and Pearl and Pokesav for Platinum only works for Platinum." I *am* using the Platinum Pokesav for my Platinum emulator. I should mention this as well. I tried using a previous No$gba DS emulator. When I would open the cheats menu and simply close out of it again without even adding any cheats, the program would crash every time. So, I downloaded a second No$gba emulator which is the one I am currently using. This program does not crash like the last one. Now, I do all as described here under "Using Action Replay Codes (with an Action Replay DS or Nitro Hax)," though it only mentioned "run[ning] the codes with Pokemon Diamond or Pearl." Like I said, I am using Pokemon Platinum as well as the correct Pokesav program for this ROM. I do as instructed even though it only mentions Diamond and Pearl. I manually copy the code from the XML file and paste it into the No$GBA DS Emulator cheat list, but once I hit the final "okay," which would normally execute the code, the program crashes. The *only* thing I am attempting to do is *create* a Pokemon for the second slot in my party. My game file on my ROM is fresh, meaning I just started a game, so the only Pokemon I have is a starter in slot one. Thus, I create a Pokemon for slot two in the Pokesav, then do as directed in the given link. I only created it, I did not alter anything. The game crashes when I try to execute the code given in the XML file. I figure that either the No$gba emulator I am using cannot handle it or I am not following the instructions for Platinum, and the instructions I was following were in fact only for Diamond/Pearl. If your emulator for Pokemon Platinum is working with the Action Replay codes, please link me to the download for it. Hopefully, that will solve the problem. Otherwise, I need someone to walk me through how to use the Pokesav with Pokemon Platinum without the emulator crashing. Thanks in advance.
