Hi, I am not sure if you're still waiting for an answer. You can change the starters using the starter mod when creating a ds solution. There is a tutorial on this in the tutorials tab under Rom editing/Editing roms with Sky editor.

Hi, everyone, I am very new to this. I was wondering if it's possible to add new pokemon to Gates. I noticed that GTI has a lot of extra spots for extra pokmon. I wanted to know if it's possible to fill one of those slots with a new pokemon. I want to add riolu honestly. I prefer playing these games as pokemon I like. So I am wanting to have riolu as a starter.
