If nobody else is I'll do it. I've been working on a personal one for Perfect HeartGold and SoulSilver, so I wouldn't mind doing this game either. You know, I'm guessing this is a bit too early to be thinking about that. I mean, even when it comes out, a lot of hacking would need to be done. Regardless, however, if there is success in hacking it like the IV generation, than you should indeed expect to get a mod like this. EDIT: I should be done with the location list by Sunday. Expect on for Perfect HG/SS as well. DOUBLE EDIT: Might be later than Sunday; possibly Monday. The way I'm doing the list is by the order of locations you go throughout the game i.e. from Twinleaf to 201, etc. HOLY TRIPLE EDIT: Okay, okay, so I haven't exactly worked on the list as planned. That doesn't mean it hasn't been worked on, but it's not really in a complete state. School started, shit happens, etc. As it turns out, I will attempt and document a Nuzlocke Challenge on SoulSilver (I will post it at the Nuzlocke Forums), while working on the Perfect HGSS list (to be posted here, if completed; I'm also playing Black, so I don't expect to finish anytime soon).

This. Although I guess I should mention that there is a formula/mechanic to catching pokemon. You're right in how stupidly frustrating it is though, and saying it shows skill is really pointless. I'm sorry, but catching a Mewtwo with a pokeball is nothing to be excited about. I can just Sleep Powder it with my Speed EV trained Jumpluff, after Batton Passing a Sub, switch in my Gengar with Shadow Ball, and start making a mockery of it. The skill is all in the competition, but if you really only play by yourself, I suppose some sense of accomplishment in catching is justified. I feel I should add that I don't consider not using a Master Ball a challenge. Really, is it all that hard to set up a paralyze or sleep status, then false swipe a legendary? By the time I'm out hunting, I mean searching, for those rare pokemon, my party is significantly leveled and would easily destroy these "legends". I have no doubt that my Gyarados can take on Dialga any day. The AI in these games is something to laugh at, but understandable since Gamefreak isn't going to take that kind of criticism from the less competitive fan base.

Unless you're being sarcastic, that's actually a typo in the description. The main antagonist is still Team Rocket. EDIT: Well, not really a typo, but copypasta from his previous mod, Perfect Platinum, which is almost better than sex. Almost.

No man, the WoodR4 does support it. At least it does for me. What I did was format my sd, put wood in it, make a Games folder (in the root), get a clean Soul Silver and Heart Gold, download the files Roland has so awesomely given us, and followed his instructions (not really, I'm not new at patching things, but you get the idea). You may have had a problem if you already had patched the game with the AP patch. Roland's mod includes that.
