  1. Well this is CrossOver I'm using and the most recent version of Wine it uses is 9.0, last updated this past February. I can't afford a virtual machine, so I guess I'm stuck for another 9 months. Either way this is not the same error message that I got last time.
  2. Okay so CrossOver has now finally updated to support Wine 9.0. I was elated to hear this... but now every time I click "File" to open a PK9 file, the app crashes due to an "unhandled exception". This is the error report it gives me. Can anyone help? ErrorReport.txt
  3. CrossOver still hasn't updated after over a month and it's really starting to bug me
  4. Is there any way to patch the new version of Wine into Crossover manually? I overheard in another thread that it was possible, although it didn't specify how.
  5. Update 2: Okay, even with the updated version of CrossOver, I’m still getting this error. I don’t even use Wine as it’s not compatible with my current Mac version so IDK what’s going on here. At this rate we really need a Mac port of PKHex; jumping through all these hurdles is a pain.
  6. Update: there’s a new version of CrossOver. Lemme try that.
  7. I don’t use Wine, I use CrossOver.
  8. Okay so I have an error log file. Any idea what this means?
  9. Okay, so the old version works fine but when I open the new one (after installing .NET desktop runtime of course), I always get this message: Please help!
  10. Hello! Okay, I need some serious help here So I tried updating my copy of PKHeX Wineskin by subbing out the exe file with the latest version's exe file, but I got a critical error. It was too late to go back, and the original PKHeX Wineskin file I found before seems to have been lost. I tried downloading what I thought was the file I had before, but it says "PKHeX is damaged and cannot be opened. You should move it to the Trash." So yeah, I'm in a real tough spot. Can anyone here who is experienced w/ Wineskin make a Wineskin app file for the current version of PKHeX that I can use on Mac? I don’t really have any other options besides Wineskin. Regular Wine doesn’t work on current Mac versions; I can't afford Crossover, nor do I have the space to partition my Mac and get Bootcamp. Honestly at this rate I don't see why an official Mac version of PKHeX is made; sure Windows apps are easier to develop from what I hear, but a lot of people use Mac and it's unfair that so many useful apps don’t have alternatives on Mac.
