    I restarted HeartGold but didn't want to have to start all over with my Pokewalker progress, so I used PkHeX after getting the National Pokedex to restore my steps, routes, and watts to where I had it before. Now, while I'm still able to collect watts, the game isn't recording my steps anymore when I connect. I'll also admit to altering the DS clock a few times if that makes any difference, but I really need to know what's happening here. EDIT: I reset my Pokewalker. The unlocked routes are still there, but it's back to 0 for steps and watts. At least the steps are recording properly again.

    I used PkHeX to give myself Blue's phone number due to how my work schedule makes it impossible for me to keep having tea with Daisy enough times in a row to get it legit (and I can't cheat the clock with her). Is this going to be a problem if I try to unlock it normally, like I might get a flag error or something?

    What do you mean by initialized? You mean if I create a Pokemon in PkHeX, it won't transfer to HOME at all, or is there something else to it?

    I've been working on a Living Dex for every generation of GB/GBA/DS/3DS games from 1 to 7, and I admit to using PkHeX to generate those I can't catch in my chosen versions, though they are all as legit as possible and aren't tripping any hack-flags. My question regards the OTs and ID numbers. If a Pokemon in, say, UltraSun is flagged as being from UltraMoon and isn't marked as an egg but still has my UltraSun OT and ID, is this going to set something off when I send them to Bank and then to HOME?

    I'm just doing something as simple as adding a Shock Wave TM into the file and it results in the game refusing to load it due to "data corruption", which I'm pretty sure is really part of the GCN games' anti-copying/hacking set-up. How can I get around this?

    Finally found a Mew here that passes. I took it into Gen2 and the name was now MEW??????? and the OT is GF?????, but it cleared up once it went to Bank. I seem OK now, so thanks for the help.

    And what would I have to do to fix those values, if possible?

    I updated to the current version when it went live. A couple days later, another update prompt for "20230130" appeared in the corner, but I click it and it shows this error.

    I did the whole process with the 8F item to the letter and everything matches up. OT and number are correct and it's at least Level 5, yet Bank still won't take it. I was told elsewhere that there's trash values that are blocking it out, so how do I fix those? Or has Bank simply been updated to block ALL Mews regardless?

    I'm not faulting HeX, but is there any way to fix these trash values so Mew will go through?

    I did the whole trick with the 8F item to give the Gen1 glitch Mew a proper GF name and number, and I was told it would pass the PokeBank legal check, but PkHeX is still flagging it as invalid. Is there a step I'm missing, or has Bank since been updated to know not to let such Mews through?

    I don't suppose there would be any way to do it with the actual game card, is there? I don't have a flashcart.

    I want to use the original outfit for at least the first half of my upcoming run, then switch to the Platinum look when it's time to head up to Snowpoint City.

    This happened to me in Red, too. I thankfully had a backup to undo it with, but this may be a problem later on when I go for the full Pokedex.

    Hi, new here. Got an issue I need fixed. I want to change the Shuckle I was given as a "gift" to fully be my own. After I was officially gifted it, I went into PkHeX and copied it (for safety), then undid the nickname and changed the copy's ID number and OT name to match my own. The name and number went through, but the OT is only listed as "?". Did I miss something in the editing portion?
