  1. Gen 3 Hall of Fame only stores TID/SID, PID and Nickname of your Pokemon, nothing more unfortunately. Though you might be able to recover your Pokemon as Pal Park doesn't delete the whole Pokemon data. It only sets the species ID to zero. So if you didn't move any other Pokemon onto the box slot, where the Pokemon you want to recover was before the transfer, it's data should still be there. You can search your Pokemon by it's PID in a hex editor. If you found your Pokemon save it's 80 Bytes into a new file. The problem now is that you can't load the Pokemon in PKHeX directly as it's species ID is invalid. So you have to decrypt it and fix the species ID at offset 0x20 as well as the checksum at 0x1C manually. Then PKHeX will be able to load it again.

  2. Greetings sharks Theoretically how much would a world championship event distribution cart go for on the market? I'm not selling one but I can assure you that at least one from some year I won't say does exist. ROM dumps of any given year are more likely to exist and probably do in the silent hands of a lucky few. Possibly all of them were dumped at some point in a back room by a crafty employee / volunteer, possibly by more than one person, and possibly not one person has every single year. Someone working as staff at the WC almost certainly would not have been able to steal a physical cartridge without having gotten caught. However, if an unknown assailant broke in and stole the cart, they could have kept it and made a clean get away. This might have happened at one or more years.

  3. I'm pretty sure the gen 3 hall of fame stores stripped data and not the full pkm. Other gens might be different, here's an editor for gen 4: Don't know about the video data, but from what I read chances are it does store full teams, as it seems to reproduce the entire battle and it would need at least the stats of the pokemon, but maybe they stripped the data and only store full stats.

  4. Dsv is just a sav with some rxtra bytes at the end, there are converters out there (I think you can use pkhex latest version too). In desmune use import battery to load a sav file, in drastic just rename the sav file to dsv, it will load just fine.

  5. Really? I had one of the missing Mews all along? Holy crap, I'm GLAD I had the foresight to back it up UNTOUCHED (thank you, GBA Action Replay!). Plus it looks like Emerald's cloning glitch preserves trash bytes, which is good to know considering I ABUSED that glitch back in the day. And yes, I did get it from the event myself.
