Have you heard of necroposting? It is frowned upon in most forum etiquette.

Additionally, it is bot-like behaviour to just jump on and reply irrelevant content in modern day standards to old threads. Those accounts tend to get removed as spam, so maybe don't do stuff that could get yourself mistaken as a bot.
