Shress Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I don't think there's any definite rules for "single free battles". Do you mean Standard play or Ubers, since they're both "single free battles"?
kunaidude34 Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 eh... ubers,i guess. (to be honest i dont even know what ubers are.) &9
Shress Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 There's a "common rules of battling" thread up. Oh, and Any pokemon period allowed! Wonder Guard Spiritomb!
kunaidude34 Posted April 22, 2009 Author Posted April 22, 2009 go ahead. bring ur stinkin spiritomb. ill kick ur butt.
Illithian Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 go ahead. bring ur stinkin spiritomb. ill kick ur butt. ...You do know that Wondertomb can't be hit by any moves?
wraith89 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 ...You do know that Wondertomb can't be hit by any moves? Except Fire Fang and Beat Up. Plus Foresight + Fighting attacks ruin it and exploit its only weakness then. But no one goes that overspecialized. Status can also ruin Wondertomb, but even then, Wondertomb is a very dangerous foe, especially when no one expects it. I think another dangerous hack Pokemon would be a Huge Power/Pure Power Slaking. Oh my... just imagine the horror of being swept by a surprisingly fast and very powerful sloth.
Greencat Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I knew that comment would lead to someone explaining it could. I'll post a thread to discuss this elsewhere.

kunaidude34 Posted April 22, 2009 Author Posted April 22, 2009 hey! like i said! id bring legends! thats my normal party! i said i wouldnt bring HACKS,HACKS,HACKS,HACKS!
Illithian Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 He has a point, he did say Ubers even though he didn't know what they were. And don't complain because someone isn't familiar with competitive battling.
KazoWAR Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Except Fire Fang and Beat Up.Plus Foresight + Fighting attacks ruin it and exploit its only weakness then. But no one goes that overspecialized. Oh my... just imagine the horror of being swept by a surprisingly fast and very powerful sloth. u use to skill swap pure power on to a slaking and have a ditto transform in to said slaking, that was in Emerald double battle tower
wraith89 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 u use to skill swap pure power on to a slaking and have a ditto transform in to said slaking, that was in Emerald double battle tower Yeah, but that takes time to set up. Hacked Slaking with instant Pure Power is scary... In Emerald right before you exit Victory Road you are encountered by two trainers who use a Gardevoir and Slaking... and that Gardevoir tries to Skill Swap with that Slaking... which is scary. Then one of them sends out Dusclops to try the same thing. In doubles: Medicham + Skill Swap with a Slaking partner... *shudders*
