He was asking what files he needs to edit for wild encounters. Answer is the ones in /fielddata/encountdata/
Princemorganti Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 on a similar topic tangent, where does one edit the feebas info? is it a script? ~D~
SCV Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 on a similar topic tangent, where does one edit the feebas info? is it a script?~D~ What info? Stats, move learned, which squares it will be encountered at?
Princemorganti Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 What info? Stats, move learned, which squares it will be encountered at? Squares encoutered at, Searching 600 tiles to fish it up woudl be something I would do if i was really really really bored... and i can't just use the calculator cheat, since it crashes the cheat engine on my flash card. ~D~
arashix Posted April 22, 2009 Author Posted April 22, 2009 in "/ fielddata / encountdata /" there are 3 files, edit them for what? d_enc_data.narc? p_enc_data.narc? pl_enc_data.narc? (What is every one?)

If so it would be easier to edit the encounter file and add feebas to the list of regular pokemon you can fish.
Roland Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Thanks SCV, lately I've been handling more and more spanish speakers and my spanish is not exactly up to par And Destati, I can only say this nicely: Watch your mouth! We are not culturally biased and unless someone higher than me says otherwise I will not tolerate it.

Roland Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I guess I should pop in here and say you can use the Wild Pokemon Editor DS to edit the encounters since people are talking about editing the entire ROM and that would be a nightmare... It can be found here: http://www.projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=324
Princemorganti Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Thats actually what prompted my question, because the Wild Pokemon Editor didn't list feebas as a fishable poke. My guess is that there is a script that randomizes the tiles ~D~
Roland Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 hrmm, Lemme check this real quick, cuz I know there are Feebas in my hack... EDIT: Feebas is a fishable pokemon, although I do not know where I put it in my hack, I went into the old rod and just clicked on a random pokemon and kept pressing "F" until I found it... I can actual put any pokemon as fishable...
