strider Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 My son has caught one shiny Pokemon in his hundreds of hours of playing Diamond and now Platinum games. The good news is that shiny was the first evolution of his favorite Pokemon -- Gengar. So before we discovered flashcarts, Pokesav, Rudolph's Tools and EZ-Flash 3-in-1's, he trained that shiny Gastly, evolved it into a shiny Haunter and eventually his prized shiny Gengar. What I want to know, is it possible to take the PKM for the shiny Gengar and edit it in a way that exactly duplicates the original shiny Gastly? I'd like to give it a try... thanks, strider
Destati Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 yeah. All you literally need to do is change the Pokemon from Gengar to Gastly in pokesav. The PID is the same, no matter which evolution form it takes.
Guested Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 You could even remove it's experience and EVs so it would be like he never trained it at all.
Sabresite Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 You could pull a twilight zone deal on him. Make him think his game reverted back in time
Gator Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Umm, if your saying just de-evolve it back into a gastly, then yeah, just make it a gastly and make it the same IVs Evs so on and so fourth..And there you guy, de-evolution
Vlad Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 If you de-evolve, go to stats edit and click "Max stats" so it re-calculates the maximum stats your de-evolved pokemon would have. Otherwise it will have evolved stats and de-evolved "skin". ;P
