PokeFinder Doesn't List "Channel" As Option?

I noticed for Method, it lists "Channel," but when in the profile manager, Channel isn't an option to even use. Does this matter or would XD/Colo work the same, or what? Also, wasn't sure where to post about this.

You’ll want to select the game that the Jirachi is being sent to. You do not do RNG manipulation on Pokémon Channel or edit the Pokémon in Channel (Channel doesn’t have any Pokémon). The Pokémon is generated in the target game that gets the Jirachi. The Channel option is there so the right method to use for Jirachi information.

In pokefinder there is no option for a “Channel” profile because no TID or SID is generated, since you don't create any trainer profile.
The Jirachi event of that game always has the same TID, what does vary is the SID, PID, EO genre and video game that receives Jirachi.
Unlike the Bonus Disc, everything is generated in Pokemon Channel and not all the Jirachis that are generated can be reached.
