pkhex PkHex: Changing Ball issues Gen 4 -> Gen 6

Hi

Transferred a few Mons from Gen 4 through Gen 5 to Gen 6. They‘re all breeded and been transferred through PkHex (it says PokeTransporter in the Met Location).

When I want to change the Pokeball from Normal to Ultra Ball, it says:

Invalid encounter type for ball

 

Is there a general rule for how Balls are being considered legal when transferred between generations?

Inheriting balls was introduced in Gen 6, anything bred in a prior generation can only legally be in a Poke Ball.
