Attempted to load an unsupported file type/size

Hi.

I'm trying to edit my UM save file but PkHex won't load it, giving me the error below. I'm using the latest pkHex version and I copy the file to my PC via FTPD 3.1.0

the sav file (main) of pokemon ultra moon/sun both in CITRA and in NINTENDO 3DS must weigh this

00000001.sav are typically encrypted saves extracted from the SD card directly. I’m assuming yours is that too.

PKHeX can’t work with console encrypted saves.

 

You’ll need to extract the save from your system using an appropriate save manager, like JKSM or Checkpoint, then only then transfer it to your computer. Do note you’re definitely going to need CFW to do that.
